9 of us went for lunch on Friday 28th. 8 of us ordered after each other & the 9th several patrons later. We waited a long time before any meal arrived with the last from our group getting her meal 1st and 2 others had ordered the same meal. The meal service was awful, meals coming in dribs and drabs and 1 of us was finished her meal before any others arrived. I was last to get my lunch after several times querying where our meals were. Checking checking was all we were advised. My meal looked like it had been forgotten and just thrown together on a plate - I did not even eat 1/4 of it - just looked terrible. We have dined there the last twice for our get togethers and this was the third time. Alas after the disastrous meals, service etc. and as 1 of our group ordered a gluten free meal. She was nearly finished when a worker came and asked who ordered the gluten free meal and to be told it was not gluten free. The rest of us were feeling really bad and ask her what the consequences would be from eating the meal. She told us, so we all agreed if anything happened we were all witnesses to this. We will under no circumstances be returning to this bistro for our get togethers and the staff in the catering should be made well...

I ordered the Salmon Steak with “Hollandaise” Sauce and sweet potato fries. The salmon was over cooked, dry, honestly just overall wrong. The “Hollandaise” was a almost fist sized lump on top the salmon. Possibly frozen?? Honestly thought it was butter until I tasted it 🤢. Not really sure what that was, but it wasn’t the Hollandaise sauce it claimed to be. The sweet potato fries were simply under done and under seasoned. A small pile of parsley next to the chips doesn’t count as seasoning to me. When I requested a refund, the waiter didn’t apologise, came back to ask if the food was actually bad or I just “didn’t like the taste” and got an attitude when I explained why it wasn’t to my standard. I requested a refund, to which I was told I could get a voucher but if I wanted the refund the chef would need to speak with me, to which I agreed as I won’t be going back here. This was 10+ minutes after initially complaining. I waited a further 10 minutes for the chef to not arrive, and I left. Lucky them, I didn’t get a refund because their chef was...

I've always come here with my family. I enjoy the food here a lot. The place could use some lightening up, it's a bit too dim for my liking.

On one busy night my mother, my second cousin and myself arrived. We had made a reservation days before. We get to the counter and find they have lost our reservation. The older lady over the counter was rude about fitting us in and telling us we mustn't had made a reservation. Her attitude toward us was quite disgraceful. In the end we where sat down at a booth (not in a very good area). Before we even finished our dinner the same older woman came to our booth and very VERY POLITELY asked us all to hurry up so that she could place another group of people where we were sitting.

I found it interesting how she could be so rude to us before hand and then suck up to us all friendly like when she needed us to give up our table. I was last to recieve my dinner and ended up having to take my plate with me to the room next door to finish.
