Arrived late into Morwell for an overnight stay. Almost everything closed for food & the Chinese right near our accomodation said their kitchen had just closed. I’m really glad - as we would never have found this absolute GEM of a restaurant otherwise. From our first phone enquiry where the gentleman answering the call was warm, helpful & genuinely sounded like he was happy to speak to us, to the same exceptional service when we arrived to place our take away order. This guy could teach most other places what true ‘hospitality’ means! He even brought our order out to the car for us & went back inside to get us cutlery just in case our accomodation didn’t have any. And then there’s the food. OMG…the FOOD!! Fried rice customised for no meat. Delicious, jumbo prawns, juicy, tender pieces of chicken in yummy satay sauce. Home made veggie spring rolls were an hit. Exceptionally fresh, incredible quality, generous serves, great prices. What a blissful surprise from this seemingly unassuming local restaurant in Morwell. I tell you what - I’ll stop by Morwell in transit in the future JUST for this great food & service & will be back every time I stay in Morwell, for sure....

Great service and beautiful fresh and tasty food. The business lunch was great value - the spring roll was home made and delicious and the chicken and sweet corn soup as good as it gets. The Curry Chicken was soooo flavorful and beautifully spicy (not dumbed-down) and the Satay Beef was highly recommended. Two of us had the Banana Fritter and ice cream and pronounced it magnificent - the batter was thin and super crunchy and the ice cream was just the right temperature and a good serving. A fantastic lunch and we will definitely make this a must-go-to...

I remember coming to Foon Lok as a young boy, always excited for the Sizzling Mongolian beef, spring rolls, short soup, and special fried rice. Fast forward nearly 15 year and Foon Lok is still a constant source of quality in Morwell, whether it be eat in or take away.

Even my FoDMAP grandma, who finds it extremely difficult to have a nice meal out given her dietary requirements loves it here. Trust me, that's saying a lot.

The service is impeccable, and so is the food. Do not sleep on this little small business! It is not one...
