We came to Mt Compass and had a tough time finding anywhere good to eat. The folks here (Rhys and Tony) gave us very good advice for places to eat, espoused some of the better eateries in the region, and were genuinely really lovely and chatty and just pleasant. An absolute highlight in our visit here. Came back for coffee on our way out.

As for the food, just lovely. Good eggs poached wonderfully, local produce used which was delicious, and good quality coffee.

If you are dragged kicking and screaming to Mt.Compass for whatever reason, make sure you come here. Truly a...

While checking out places that do GF (Coeliac) we stumbled upon Clyde & Co, it was like striking gold!! The food was absolutely amazing, I had the the Chicken and Barley soup (I'm not GF) and my husband had GF Moroccan Carrot soup, both served with sourdough, Yes GF sourdough!! Both soups were just perfect!! My daughter had Chicken Caesar toasty on GF sourdough. The services was just as amazing as the food, lovely, warm and down to earth :) Keep doing what you are doing, we will be regulars from here on in, and look forward to trying...

We moved to the area a few months ago and were stoked to find a local cafe with great coffee and an interesting menu that really hits the spot. Very reasonably priced and the owners are lovely and conversational.

We were extremely impressed with our meals which were the perfect size with fresh ingredients that were bright, zesty, healthy and innovative. The specials change fortnightly but the regular menu is spot on. Can’t wait to head back again. Thank you both. Oh, and the freshly squeezed juices...

Amazing find of this quaint cafe! The coffee tasted great, as well as the mocha frappes that we ordered. We absolutely loved the tasted sandwiches; we ordered the Italian rissole, reuben and the ham/cheese. Devoured them within a couple of minutes! Would definitely be back if we are in the area again. Highly recommended! Staff were really friendly as well. ✨

Quaint little main street cafe in Mt Compass located in-between local bric a brac stores with a good range of light meals. Inside and outside dining options available with table service. A worthwhile visit on the way to, or on the way back, from other tourist destinations on the Fleurieu Peninsula.
