Murray Bridge Community Club — Restaurant in Murray Bridge

I wasn’t going to write a Google review. But thought after my experience, I probably should to warn others.

I had lunch here in 7/1, within my order I had ordered a chicken schnitzel with mushroom gravy. As I started eating the meal, I noticed the was a funny taste to the mushroom gravy. I’ve asked a woman staff member how the gravy was made, and she asked what was wrong, if it was sour in taste. I explained it wasn’t sour, but the flavour wasn’t normal. The employee had expressed to me that they had a new batch of mushrooms come in & the chef wasn’t to sure on them, he had tried them earlier that day & he agreed they tasted funny. But yet to still serve this out to customers after that. At this stage, I was worried for my health & asked if she could speak to the chef in regards to this. I was assured the mushrooms were not off/solid but they weren’t normal. As a sorry gesture i was offered a free drink.

Later on that day, I called the community club back to discuss the situation & was informed the mushrooms had been chucked away & they were not fine to eat, apologising & I was told someone from management would call me back,

I’m yet to hear back from the company after leaving my name & number. No refund, no care factor!

Also don’t ask for a jug of coke or glass. They will charge you, give you Pepsi not notifying the customers that it’s not coke on tap. Which was another $15 wasted on drinks we didn’t...

We travelled to Murray Bridge for speedway only for it to be rained out. So we decided to out for trlea instead and booked a table for 35 people and was told that was the most we could book for no more. When we arrived and sat down, a young staff member wearing a Port Adelaide jumper approached the table within 2 mins of us arriving and abruptly told us we had to order straight away as they had another large table coming in, otherwise we wouldnt get our meals. We ordered reasonably quickly and she was very rude to us all when taking our orders. After our meals we brought a few drinks and stayed and chatted for a little bit. It was around 8:30pm and the bar waitress who was wearing a black chocker necklace stormed over to the table, grabbed some bottles, stormed back to the bar, aggressively pushing on the doors which resulted in a large bang and then threw the bottles in the sink which also caused a loud noise, startling the whole restaurant. I have NEVER encountered such disgraceful and disgusting service and both of these waitresses do NOT deserve to have jobs. You could clearly tell they both wanted to go home and didn't want to be there. Their were also quite inappropriate ly dressed for the venue. Food was ok but we will never return after...

Some very rude staff can't. Say please or thank you if you don't want TAB machine give it back to tab if some staff so miserable stay home,don't make rules as you go along,clickey club,different rules for different members ie have you got your card ,me no it's home,I'm not fussed I pay I'm ok,next customer no card what's your number she taps it in he gets his discount oh that's right Wayne your only scum!OK I'VE had enough nice lady bar lady asks what would I like I said 2VBcans take away, she says have your got your card I said no she said I can't have beer I said I don't want discount, I asked why she said it's the rules and was supported by her peers, the good staff know who they are I respect them,and the others when you go you won't be missed,a male bar staff said to friend of mine that we are to swipe our cards if we want discount otherwise pay full price.so offend your friends don't abuse the people that pay your wages Nepatism at its...
