I try and stop in every time the place is open. Staff and owner recognise the regulars, even if I live 200km away and have about the same left before I arrive at mums.
Indoor and outdoor facilities, bathroom, large vehicle area out the back if you turn into the adjacent driveway.
I’ve never been past and not seen multiple cars and people there, unless they are closed of course. Being popular and regulars from 100’s of kms away, that really says it all!
If you want a proper coffee, this is a family owned and operated business. Don’t just stand till you are at the front of line, and don’t order a bunch of pies and mention coffee as an afterthought. Call out, respectfully, that you intend to order that type which you like… the staff know how best everywhere else but mind reading, and coffee takes longer to prepare than even I would be able to get a few pies out the warmer and put a bag around them.    Read moreWow wow wow We were lucky enough to get here just before they closed. We've tried to stop here a few times but we've always been too late.. The pies were AMAZING, my son said the pepper pie was the best he has ever had. The lemon meringue pie was probably the best I have ever tried. Plenty of lemon curd which was simply divine. Pastry melted in your mouth and the meringue, well I could have eaten a bucket of that!! The style and decor of the Life of Pi is beautiful and cakes are presented to perfection. The service was probably one of the friendliest, funniest and most welcoming I have encountered for a very long time.. we left here feeling so happy... amazing people!! (Dad, another man and Sons) we really should have asked your names... We can't wait to return here..it will be on our fortnightly trip list for sure... Keep up the great work guys.. Definitely recommend every one...

We felt a lil bad that the kiddies wouldn't get their after school snack, I remember how I loved an after school snack... though we were starving and the guilt quickly vanished. !! Also he didn't want our money!.. so generous, what a great bloke. He asked us not to judge him on these as they weren't presented how he would of liked, but we did and they were bloody delish and stayed in form long enough for us to gobble them up. Curry...
