Double Picc Espresso… — Restaurant in Muswellbrook

It was hilarious experience Ordered a long black. I normally check espresso crema at the new shop so I opened the lid and look inside of the cup there were not crema chunky milk froth like a marshmallow not silky just chunk of milk froth like just a seconds before burn instead. my partner tasted and it was definitely not a long black. took it back and told him that it's not what we ordered. he realised that he handed us different customers coffee and he asked us if we drink it or not. We told him that we had a sip clearly. Then he called customer back and  took the lid off and put new lid on handed to the customer who supposed to get one and then he swapped the coffee cup gave us the one. We asked him to make new one cuz what we just saw... I don't wanna coffee somebody possibly had a sip... he took the cup out from us and slammed coffee into the sink like a baseball pitcher. showing his irritation very obviously even new born baby can tell. Anyway coffee has no crema no flavour just coffee coloured hot water. Well shouldn't say no flavour taste like second brew or used rough-grounded coffee beans. Is this because of he got mad at us? I am not sure... but I would not recommend this shop both hygiene standards and...

We ordered coffee and breakfast. The coffees were bland with very little froth. Ok, though, good temperature. Our breakfasts were not delivered. When, after a long wait, I asked how long they would be, we discovered that the order had disappeared. We had to be somewhere else and couldn't wait any longer, so asked for our money back. It was thrown at us without apology 😒 We came past on our way to the car park about 20 minutes later. The person whose picture is drawn on the wall and merchandise insulted us three times as we walked past. I am awarding one star because there is not an option for zero stars. First time I've been to the cafe and I won't be going back unless they do some staffing changes!

There is nothing on the menu for children, our food arrived when we asked for it to be heated.

Multiple tables dirty that we had to ask to be cleaned prior to sitting down.

Staff wiping their noses prior to touching food.

We had a staff member rudely talk down to us that we had to check in, (we had already). I pulled her up on her rudness and she then tried to justify her behaviour by talking down at me. All this in a space of 10 minutes and in front of my children.
