Heard really great things about this restaurant so we were really disappointed when we had dinner there. The garlic bread was toasted bread with nothing on it, when I spoke to the worker she said she had tried it and knew it was bad (then you should take it off the menu…). The lady made us a new one which had more garlic on it and it was clumpy and gooey and disgusting so we didn’t eat that either.

The lady gave us back a refund or said she was for $9 for the garlic bread. However I checked my bank account and they actually charged me $9 extra instead of a refund.

The pizza dough was barely a pizza dough, especially as it was meant to be wood fired pizza. The salad was yum and the restaurant was aesthetic. They are the only two good things to comment on!

The service was poor and for a restaurant with little diners, there was no table service and they gave us a buzzer like we were in a food court. No table service at all.

So overall a really disappointing experience as it was an occasion dinner and our last night in the Hunter for the long weekend. Would not recommend going here, and hope they read this and change...

Don't go on a Saturday!. I made a booking for 10 pax & the area they allocated us was wedged bewtween a table of 12 or so people & a group on the other side that was congregating at our table, making it difficult for us to sit down. I had to ask if they could move slightly to make room for us to get in, (it was a high table with stool type seating), and I was told to wait until they greeted their friends. It was uncomfortable & embarrassing for me, taking friends who had not been before. While I appreciate rude & selfish diners is not the venue's fault, who ever is doing the seating needs to think about spreading larger groups out so they are not all cramped together in a small confined space where it is difficult to even get to your seat, let alone get in or out to order. It's a shame as it is a lovely outdoor space & the pizza's were tasty & well cooked, & the drinks well priced. I definitely recommend thinking twice about booking for a group on...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bimbadgen Wood Fired Pizza in Pokolbin, and it was an amazing experience! The shared plates were the highlight of our meal, offering a delightful variety of flavors and textures that were perfect for sharing with family and friends. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with fresh, local ingredients.

The Tuscan-inspired courtyard provided a relaxing ambiance, making it an ideal spot for a leisurely meal. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed to enjoy our dining experience. We also savored a glass of their exquisite wine, which paired wonderfully with the shared plates.

The stunning views from the vine-covered pergola added to the overall charm of the place. I highly recommend Bimbadgen Wood Fired Pizza for anyone looking to enjoy a fantastic meal in a beautiful setting. It’s a must-visit spot in the...

Visited Bimbadgen for a wine tasting and a romantic picnic for two. Started off poorly with our table still holding the previous visitors dirty wine and water glasses and spit jug. First server was about to fill the glasses before we pointed it out and then asked to get up (with some rudeness) so they can clean it up. No rush to clean up with 3 people involved? Didn't stress on it, and just wanted to enjoy ourselves. In comes Taylor to save the day, bright, bubbly, very friendly and professional. Enjoyed her service, honesty and her info on the wines, and all done with a smile and some humour. Thank you very much! Wines were fantastic, very enjoyable. Picnic hamper and location was fantastic. Such an enjoyable experience. Forgot our complimentary glasses and cooler bag on the way out (was part of the package). Taylor, thank you so much. Excellent service 👏 👍

We love the winery and had come down to show it to the family visiting from India ,however with 10 of us being there the service experience was extremely poor, with all of us having the tasting they didn't seem to have enough staff on the floor .With hospitality facing a big shortage this was understood however the staff who did attend kept switching at our table causing lot of confusion and waste of time during the tasting .Charging us a tasting charge of 10$/person ever after spending close to 600$ over lunch+buying ,wine bottles seemed extremely outrageous. Previously we bought close to 120 wine bottles from the winery but this was a big disappointment.
