Heard really great things about this restaurant so we were really disappointed when we had dinner there. The garlic bread was toasted bread with nothing on it, when I spoke to the worker she said she had tried it and knew it was bad (then you should take it off the menu…). The lady made us a new one which had more garlic on it and it was clumpy and gooey and disgusting so we didn’t eat that either.
The lady gave us back a refund or said she was for $9 for the garlic bread. However I checked my bank account and they actually charged me $9 extra instead of a refund.
The pizza dough was barely a pizza dough, especially as it was meant to be wood fired pizza. The salad was yum and the restaurant was aesthetic. They are the only two good things to comment on!
The service was poor and for a restaurant with little diners, there was no table service and they gave us a buzzer like we were in a food court. No table service at all.
So overall a really disappointing experience as it was an occasion dinner and our last night in the Hunter for the long weekend. Would not recommend going here, and hope they read this and change...
Read moreDon't go on a Saturday!. I made a booking for 10 pax & the area they allocated us was wedged bewtween a table of 12 or so people & a group on the other side that was congregating at our table, making it difficult for us to sit down. I had to ask if they could move slightly to make room for us to get in, (it was a high table with stool type seating), and I was told to wait until they greeted their friends. It was uncomfortable & embarrassing for me, taking friends who had not been before. While I appreciate rude & selfish diners is not the venue's fault, who ever is doing the seating needs to think about spreading larger groups out so they are not all cramped together in a small confined space where it is difficult to even get to your seat, let alone get in or out to order. It's a shame as it is a lovely outdoor space & the pizza's were tasty & well cooked, & the drinks well priced. I definitely recommend thinking twice about booking for a group on...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Bimbadgen Wood Fired Pizza in Pokolbin, and it was an amazing experience! The shared plates were the highlight of our meal, offering a delightful variety of flavors and textures that were perfect for sharing with family and friends. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with fresh, local ingredients.
The Tuscan-inspired courtyard provided a relaxing ambiance, making it an ideal spot for a leisurely meal. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed to enjoy our dining experience. We also savored a glass of their exquisite wine, which paired wonderfully with the shared plates.
The stunning views from the vine-covered pergola added to the overall charm of the place. I highly recommend Bimbadgen Wood Fired Pizza for anyone looking to enjoy a fantastic meal in a beautiful setting. It’s a must-visit spot in the...
