Bombay Wala Indian Takeaway & Restaurant Ballina — Restaurant in New South Wales

This is the greatest secret of Ballina..and beyond... I wish I tried them earlier. The food is better than ANY Indian Restaurant I have ever tried.

The phone service is excellent. Your order is taken quickly, with no mistakes and it is repeated back to you 5/5.

The food is ready for pick up WHEN they say it will. Not before, not after, but on time. After having worked in hospitality for many years, I really appreciate that the food isn't sitting under some warming lamp until you get there, they do what they say they will do.

The food is more awesome than you can imagine..When you get there, the decor might fool you into thinking that this is just another cheap Indian joint. It IS cheap...yes...but it TASTES amazing and better than any Indian I have ever tried.

Judging this place by it's exterior or interior would be a mistake. This is the best Indian (that I have tried in the Northern Rivers).

When you see Indian people ordering there, you know it's legit. Enough said...do your taste buds a favour...they live in...

The staff and service was really good, although I am a bit disappointed by the food, I was expecting better based on the revues. The rice and the naan were good and eveything is in good quantities but the palak paneer was a bit stange, normally you have cheese inside or taste it better, but there were pieces of tofu ? or it tasted like it. And last thing is the raita, it was overly sweet, like if they put sugar inside. So sadly I was really hyped by having an indian restaurant next to my house because it's my favourite type of food but unfortuatly I won't be coming again. Shocked by the customer service, I was super keen to try this place as I have been disappointed in Indian restaurants in Ballina. After receiving the order, I drove 15 minutes home and opened up my bag and realised a curry was missing. I rang back and they said to me that I never ordered it #gaslighting and that the order was repeated to me on the phone and once I got to the counter, but when they repeated it on the phone, it was correct, and I didn’t notice when they repeated it at the counter.
