I real want this place to take off- there is so much potential for ambiance and vibe, and there is nothing standing in their way as there are no good breakfast/ brunch cafes nearby. I hope they start by using a good coffee bean provider who can train up the barista's, keep the place clean and pay some attention to decor- fresh plants are easy to grow- look at Devils ivy and philodendron. Check out local op shops for decorative and crockery and cutlery. Food, keep it good quality and simple- just a tip- a bacon and egg roll is a favourite if you use a milk bun or good quality bun- the egg should be sunny side up and not over cooked unless specifically requested that way- sour dough- good for everything - toast- smashed avo- cheese and tomato. Use butter with abandon- also as pointed out by my brother- there are no Filipino restaurants on the central coast so maybe add some interesting tidbits to excite the palate .Start off simple and always have a vego and vegan option. Lastly, most people are pretty accomodating with staff, as long as they're friendly and kind. 🤞Good luck and I wish you well😊- get back to me if you want any help with the name- ( I love me some goooood coffee and simple tasty good...
Read moreTerrible, service and food, considered going here because of the rating, In the end didnt meet the expectation, firstly was the only one in the cafe and ordered 2 coffees TA, and others entered and ordered coffee, (during this ordered two toasties Ham & cheese).
The three men who entered after where served their coffees first.
Secondly, the older women said in a rude mocking my order to the barista (Ham & cheese only as if it's a big deal to make it fresh). Which il like to point out wasn't.
Thirdly the man making the sandwich no gloves on and eating while preparing. (Disgusting)!..
And lastly while standing waiting on the coffees, asked where are the coffees rather giving us them they had them behind the counter while the old lady.
(if shes the owner she should approve her apperence and attitude). was able to walk out and give to the men, also the barista was not able to say coffees are ready.

Read moreI started going to burns Rd Cafe a while ago now as I often shop at big flower which is just next door. I used to come here regularly and quite enjoyed my food and stay. That is until about a month or 2 ago, I took a brief break from dining here for a few weeks or so and only briefly revistited. to say it will be one of my lasts visits is an understatement. I'm not sure if there is new management but the new atmosphere has completely changed. The food is moreorless the same in quality if not dipped a bit,but the staff in particular have become quite concerning. I can not speak for all of the staff but one in particular was quite brash and loud. I'm not sure who it is but one person in particular was very noisy, unprofessional, and all around seemed rude. I hope these issues get resolved as it used to be a favourite...
