Cafe Hartley — Restaurant in New South Wales

The food is good but they are not doing themselves any favours to keep customers since the bypass. We have continued to regularly stop there to support them but its wearing thin. We stopped in there at 2 45pm (they shut at 3.30) to be told we couldn't order any food other than fried food as the kitchen was shut down. The young lady then seemed offended when we said we'd get food further up the mountains...they lost an easy $60.

A couple of other tines before that we felt that we were putting them out by stopping in and ordering food and coffee.

I'm happy to go the extra 15 minutes to Lithgow if it keeps happening.

Absolutely pathetic cafe! I have been getting lunch once a week from Hartley fresh, every single week it is dissapointing. Have received blood red undercooked burger patties and undercooked chips on numerous occasions. The serving size is never predictable. Bought fish and chips today for $13 and barely got half a piece of dry fish and 10 undercooked chips. You can almost never get through on the phone to place an order and if you do the woman that owns the place is always rude and disrespectful. I Will never be going back! Don't risk the...

Very rude staff (or 1 staff member at least). Stopped in on our way through and entered the store only to be told quite aggressively and rudely that they had reached the maximum number of people they were allowed in the store and we would have to wait outside. I would have had no problem waiting and appreciate that they're keeping everyone safe with the restrictions, it just didn't need to be said so rudely. We decided to leave instead of wait, I'd rather not support a business that can't speak to customers...
