Caves Cafe — Restaurant in New South Wales

Staff were rude, price for the meat pie was $5 on the blackboard sign and they charged $7.50 and when questioned they said prices have gone up and they have been to busy to change the sign, not only that but the tone of voice and customer service was pathetic. We had to wait 30 minutes and go back to the counter to ask for someone to “hand” a Mrs Macs meat pie over the counter because they were “so busy”. It’s not the price it’s the lack of customer service and coming from a hospitality and retail background you don’t argue with customers especially when it’s your error for simply not taking two seconds to remove a small chalkboard sign from above...

While the coffees were good service was poor, and the mango muffin would have to be the worst muffin I've eaten. Waited a long time for order to come out(had to ask where it was, as did others in the cafe) when it did come out was not what was ordered and the were not happy about me not taking it. They did eventually give me what I ordered. Looking at other reviews it's clear no change to customer service had been made. Next time we visit the caves we will be bringing our own food and telling others to...

We were at the cafe yesterday and the staff forgot two of our orders. We had to remind them about the coffee and the fish and chips and they then started making it. I asked the staff the name of the cake at the counter and she did not know what it was, neither did they know what dirty chai on the menu was.
