The Cafe Mogo have Nice and friendly staff, great customer service and amazing food. We had Toasted sandwich and coffee, Muffin with Milkshake. There is seating outside the Courtyard, to have lunch, or ice cream, Toasted sandwich πŸ₯ͺ πŸ˜‹, and many more wonderful products. First European were the Barling Family settler's πŸ‘ͺ in the area, they obtaining land along Tomaga River. Mogo area was sparsely settled with Farming and Timber- getting as the emerging industries by 1850s. Mogo eventually had local own Cheese Factory and Timber Mill, supplied sleepers for the State's rapidly developing Rail 🚈 network. In 1857, Mogo rose prominence when Two Timber cutters working at Cabbages Tree Creek, discovered a Gold Nugget ✨️, that they named 'Little Yella Fella ' (Little Yellow young male). 1870s that Mogo was officially declared a Gold Field, and by 1871 around Fifty Men were working in the Mogo Creek itself. Article published in the Moruya Examiner in 1888, 'Mogo was described as keeping a small but steady body of diggers at work, and there are yet very strong indications of good Gold Field being found within its limits. Later in 1800s Mogo's heyday was when the Towns population reached 15 000, and were more than 17 Hotels 🏨 in the area, as well as illicit stills and wine 🍷 shanties. As the Gold dwindled, so did the Hotels 🏨, until only the Commercial Inn remained. The Sharmrock Gold Mine opened in 1904 and closed in 1931, was the last Mine to operate in Mogo. Mogo was affected by the 2019- 20, Australian Bushfire Seasons. An very old timer building buried down, as well some houses 🏘 were damaged in the Fire πŸ”₯. 2016 census Mogo had a population of 322.

A great meal - always is, friendly staff, great service. Adhering to covid rules very well. I love the Mogo focaccia and my sister had "the best salad sandwich she has ever had". So full of fresh salad and included things which she is used to paying extra for. The atmosphere is always lovely with ppl playing with the chess set and being away from the busy road. It's always the place for lunch for me.

Great foodband drinks here. Toasted sandwiches were well made and are worth the price you pay. Milkshakes are also yummy and are worth trying, especially caramel and strawberry flavoured ones. Yours truly @fooderarri

A little gem in Mogo town. This is on the main road next where you turn off to Mogo Gold rush colony. A variety of candies and lollies. An excellent collection of fudges that you can pick and choose in a box.

The cafe menu has variety of food. I love the brownie with the cream. The brownies was one of the best I had in Australia with lower sugar level adding to the taste. Home made with macadamia nuts in between. The whipped cream added extra taste.

There are plenty of ice creams and the staff were very friendly. Would love to visit again in my next...

What an a. Axing surprise this store has to offer. Very humble entry from the front but once inside it is a kids paradise with confectionary that takes any middle age person back to their childhood. The cafe has many sweet savouring deserts on offer with your favourite coffee and the service is fast. The shop just keeps giving as you enter the back courtyard with its beautiful plants a d generous space to move around in and e joy a game of check with toddler size pieces. I was glad my curiosity led me into this store my kids and I...
