Mogo Brew Crew — Restaurant in New South Wales

2 stars only cos of the convenience… otherwise I’d drop the rating. I stopped in to grab a coffee before a big drive to Sydney with my little one asleep in the car.. it was the perfect stop as I could pull over and park right in front of the caravan, order and wait all while being nearby the car.. so convenience wise this works great. I was greatly looking forward to my coffee and loooved that they have tiger nut milk on board! However unfortunately customer service is clearly lacking. The older lady with dark curly hair needs to work on her people skills! I was happily and patiently waiting for 1 person in front to order and I get to the counter to be looked at, huffed at and abrubtly asked “what do you want”. No smile, no hi/hello/good morning. I replied “hi how are you?” (with a smile on my face.. even though I was slightly in shock). The woman replies “yes good now what do you want”… I ordered and was holding CASH. The lady was already putting through an eftpos transaction for me and turned around..!! So, confused I asked “um do you not take cash?” she turns around all flustered and says back “oh I’m just so busy you have no idea!” I didn’t even bother with a response I just gave her my cash, got the change and walked over and waited near the car.

ahhhh okay so.!??!! There were 4 people hanging around the cafe- 2 were chatting with coffees, the other 2 were waiting near the tables so I presume she was “busy” with their orders but c’mon this is not appropriate customer service and it’s not my fault you can’t handle being “busy”! A few coffees at a tiny little caravan is NOT what I call busy.. I’ve worked in busy hospitality venues and I can assure you this was just plain old RUDE customer service and this woman clearly didn’t want to be there. —- Also being “busy” is not any excuse to give your customers such rude and abrupt service. You could have just asked me to walk around the corner and order from a different cafe if you didn’t want my business!

I watched her make all of the 4 coffees she had in her lineup, mine included. Overall not great service, & not a great coffee which is such a shame cos as a local I had previously enjoyed coffee from here on the occasions that I’d stop in… well I can tell you after this, it most definately has left a sour taste and I...

This great little place definitely punches above its weight! Coffee is consistently good and service is really friendly and helpful. If you're stopping for lunch, the beef and red wine pies are fantastic. Great to see the environmentally friendly considerations too - you can buy a keepcup and your coffee...

My husband got us some small quiche type pies from the mogo brew crew this morning and oh my goodness, they were next level amazing! They were so mouth watering good we have been talking about them for the last hour, we regret not getting more. 5 star...
