The serving person apologised for the 20 minute delay, nearly cold chips no buckets of chicken even though they accepted the online order. No large gravy, 4 small tubs were offered and I received 2 small tubs of potato and gravy and 2 of gravy only. I got 2 boxes of chicken, one box had not been drained and I had to put my hand underneath the bag it was packed in because it was soaking in oil. It soaked into my car floor mat and when I got home the box it was packed in was saturated in oil. I had to put it on the kitchen sink tray because it was still dripping oil. Buy the time I dished up for my mum and dad I decided to give it a miss. My mum had 1 piece of chicken and some chips and got a bad case of reflux. KFC has major management and training problems. I feel sorry for the staff, it looked like chaos in the kitchen. Oh and the chicken tenders looked like strips of breast meat not the tenderloins. I contacted the manager and got a partial refund and an apology from him. My experience was disappointing to say the least. I recently visited your Ballina BP travel centre store attempting to order a promotional item through the KFC app. Unfortunately, the app had a technical issue that prevented me from completing the order as intended.
When I approached the counter for assistance, I was met by the manager on duty, Zachariah. Rather than offering help or a workaround, he simply stared at me rudely and blankly for a moment and then stated that I would have to pay $9 extra because the item couldn't be rung up through the POS system as part of the promotion.
This response was extremely unhelpful and disappointing, especially coming from a manager. I felt dismissed and disrespected as a customer, and no effort was made to honour the advertised promotion or to resolve the issue professionally.
I would rather make the trip into town rather than deal with 0 customer service.
My order was then delayed for 40 mins while my order was prepared after waiting for the app to work. Unfortunately I belive this was the manager being spiteful as I ordered a second order on the kiosk that was ready a lot sooner than my second smaller...
Read moreThis has to be the most disgusting, poorly managed KFC I have ever encountered, I waited at the counter for over 10 minutes with no acknowledgment from staff. Eventually, a staff member appeared, without addressing me, only to place a sign stating the counter was closed and directing customers to use the self-service kiosk. After placing my order through the kiosk, I waited an additional 15 minutes while staff remained out the back, loudly engaged in a social conversation that included frequent swearing.
When my order finally arrived, the chips and chicken were cold, the chicken had barely any original recipe coating, and it was so dry it was practically inedible.
The overall experience from the poor food quality and unprofessional staff behaviour to the dismissive signage reflects a complete lack of customer service standards and extremely poor management.
