Matts Diner - Forresters Beach — Restaurant in New South Wales

I have mix filling about the place. We arrived half and hour before closing at 7pm the woman said they closed in ten minutes when in actual fact it was 28 minutes till 7:30pm which is there closing time. The lovely young man who worked there let us order. When we sat down we saw the 2 workers talking which young man came back and said it have to be takeaway we where fine with that. Few minutes later the woman I’m assuming was he’s manager called him back over he then turned around and told us that we had to wait out side in the rain for order to be ready because they needed to mope the floors again still about 15 minutes before there alleged Closing time. While we waited in the doorway. They didn’t mope the floor. When our food was done I heard the female I assuming manager say not so quietly to nice young guy who worked there too “where half and hour behind schedule”. Again it was still 5 minutes before they actually closed. The place look lovely I liked the young men’s outfit but that woman was terrible made us feel uncomfortable and honestly she had a bad work effect if u close at 7:30 than 7:30 is when u should clean up and close up not 30 minutes before 7:30 if ur gonna do that than make it clear on ur socials that the kitchen closes at a...

The difference between the original at lake Munmorah and her is crazy, the wait time here for a milkshake is sub par whilst Munmorah is amazing... The chips were the best part about the place, floor was filthy, highchair filthy, I had to ask for a rag... Will definitely be sticking to the original from now on..

11 months on from my first review I decided to give this restaurant a second chance and to my let down it didn't make any improvements over that time, the wait time is ridiculous the milkshakes were not cold, I received my cheesy bacon fries which had a hair in them I returned them to then have one of the staff members walk back over to me offering me the same chips minus the chip that had the hair stuck in the cheese sauce " did you want these ones back or did you want us to make them fresh for you " I was stunned.. price has gone up and food quality and service has gone down, highly...

Food was good expect for the warm bread sold as toast and meat pattie on hamburger was half the size of the bun. Scotch fillet burger was worse. The meat so thin and not even filled have half the bun. But they do offer a great dish of attitude from the staff. I know your young and 5 people in total at the dinner was too much and when I ask about when my coffee was coming and was given a another serve of attitude, this was after I had already finished my meal.
