McDonald's Kincumber — Restaurant in New South Wales

"I was disappointed with my recent visit to McDonald's Kincumber. On the 6th of May, I placed an order through the drive-thru, which included a meal with a drink as part of the May weekly deals. Unfortunately, when I received my order, the drink was missing. After inquiring about the missing drink, the staff member insisted it wasn't on the screen and that I hadn't paid for it, which was entirely untrue. I proceeded to show the code/deal I used, but they still didn't provide my drink.

Feeling my dignity as a consumer being undermined, I decided to reorder the same meal using the same code, but this time through my friend's phone. Interestingly, my friend received his drink without issue. It's important to note that the staff member serving my friend was different—she had red hair with freckles. After explaining my situation to her, she kindly provided the drink I originally paid for, for which I am incredibly thankful. I write this review to express my gratitude to that kind staff member and to voice my frustration with the tall blonde-haired girl who seemed to be a shift runner— I may be wrong.

While the rest of the food met expectations, the initial oversight of a basic part of my order was frustrating. I hope this feedback will be taken into consideration to improve order accuracy in the future. Late last night, a squadron of my closest companions found ourselves at this McDonald’s. We were thoroughly disappointed with the service. Here’s what happened. On our first trip though the drive through we ordered a range of meals for everyone in the car. However, when we pulled out, we realised that they had missed not one but two of our double cheeseburgers. These cheeseburgers had no onions and pickles. Along side this we had missing shaker fries and no onions in quarter pounder. Astonished by this, we rapped around into the drive through to demand the rest of our food. The man working at the window literally mentioned that he had missed the shaker fries, but instead gave us fires with sweet and sour sauce instead. Received drinks and ice cream straight away at drive through, then waited for food for ages. Sundae was melting away. Person gave our food to the car behind us. The person behind us stepped out of the car to return our order, then maybe 3-4 minutes later another person brought us our food. Drove home where one of my children was waiting for her sundae that was completely melted. ( I live 3 minutes away). My son was with me in the car crying as chips were cold and he has been looking forward to have a treat. When I got home and opened chicken nuggets, there was bite taken out of one at put back in the box ( probably by the person in the car behind). Honestly, maybe it is blessing in disguise, because my family is totally disgusted by our meal. Turned them off McDonald's completely and have nutritional meals at home instead. So...
