Literally the worst store in NSW probably the country, as previously voted. With viral videos of rats running through the store with a complete lack of customer care or service. Your staff must be that illiterate they can't function. Walked into the store today, all bins were at capacity and couldn't take another piece of rubbish. The car park was the same. The self service machines were filthy and stated only take away orders were being offered. Which was strange because the entire store was a putrid mess with rubbish and food scraps/sauce deposited throughout. I order a medium quarter pounder meal with extra onions and extra pickles. I was originally surprised that the order was slapped together reasonably quick, then I realised why. After leaving the store rather quickly to avoid catching anything from the filth laying around, I realised that the chips were filthy and cold. The burger, even with a grill slip stating the additional items requested, was missing the additional items, and was missing the initial items of onion and pickles. Which brings me back to the statement of illiteracy, rather than following the order directions and reading the the order correctly, you have decided to completely change the order to suit your lack of competency and skill set. This has happened previously several times over the years and I have been provided with inedible food. So much so that now I have decided to completely boycott your store and write a review that will probably go nowhere but makes me feel just that little bit better. I have no confidence that your staff are able to slap a correct order together, so didn't even bother calling to complain or have them try rectify it. I would hate to see what I were to be served with next. It's a shame though as I vary rarely eat the garbage food your establishment has to offer, but in this area of town we are extremely limited with options. Now even more so. It was hard to understand the lack of store cleanliness, customer service, and supply of services paid for when the store was visibly staffed with more than enough to get the job done. They obviously found something collaboratively to steal their attention away from what they are being paid to provide. To your management and corporate services. Learn from your mistakes. Hire people with more than half a brain to share and have above substanded literacy skills. Clean your store and learn to take pride in it. Once your staff have pride in themselves this will show through the store and services. You have an extremely long way to go. I do not have faith. Sincerely yours forever truthful.

I’ve had to travel from Anna Bay down to Newcastle over the last couple of weeks for family matters but calling into McDonald’s on the way through and grabbing a quick bite to eat or drink it’s been great I go through the drive-through and they get me through as quick as I can sometimes there’s a queue but a little bit of patience and you’re through and on your way but always found the staff there to be nice and helpful and as quick as I can so if you’re stuck in the queue the drive-through just sent to the poor person inside trying to get all them orders done they doing the best they can trying to help you thank you McDonald’s Williamtown from MWH. I was going to show you some photos of my big breakfast but it’s not that nice I had before I could take a photo sorry about that maybe next time thank you from MWH

This morning I dropped my friend Toby at the airport in Williamtown. He took a 6.50am flight to Darwin, via Brisbane. He's travelling to Katherine for 8 days. After dropping him off, me and my friend Steve stopped by maccas for a quick breakfast and a coffee. I got the mcmuffin meal (medium) and 3 hot cakes with syrup. The service was quick and efficient and the meal was enjoyable. I didnt finish the coffee, however, because I didnt feel like it. We caught some of the ANZAC dawn service on the tv which was good, and we helped out a lady who was struggling to use the self serve machine (she ordered a small cappuccino). If I had to choose which part of the meal I enjoyed most, I would personally say the hot cakes. They werent cheap though! Thanks to Steve for the ride back home afterwards. Appreciated.

Used to visit this maccas often as it’s conveniently located but that’s all it has going for it tbh. Mostly stop in for a drink on the way home. Every time we want a frappe, the machine is broken, the food is often not fresh, the amount of cockroaches I’ve seen in the car park looks like the start of some horror film and in store it is often filthy dirty, rubbish left by patrons, tables not wiped down, food on the floor and the toilets are filthy.

More recently, the app allowed me to order a frappe. When I reached the box to give my mobile code I was told they were unavailable, so I ordered an iced coffee. I literally sat in the same spot in drive through for 23 minutes… didn’t move at all… even had a conversation with friends who were in the car park who said it was a shitty experience for them in store.

When I eventually reached the window I had to pay again even though Apple Pay had taken the money from my account for the frappe - I could see they from my banking app displaying it on my Home Screen. The young girl had no idea what to do and told me to ask at the next window. I did. The young guy said if I parked and came in they could fix it… appalling service. I refused to drive on or park, having now been in drove tbroough for close to 30 minutes… all for a drink! I waited until they gave me a refund then and there. The drink I had ordered was a medium, I was given a large and had apparently paid for a large, and it didn’t taste like coffee, so milky and yuck.

I have not been back since, and will now drive 15 minutes out of my way now to go to another if I’m that desperate for anything from Maccas. Easier and cheaper to go home and prepare something myself these days.

People only return because it’s conveniently located, not because of the service, quality of food or availability of the full menu. Do yourself a favour, drive out of your way to Medowie, the Terrace, Heatherbrae, Hexham, Mayfield or Sally and you’ll probably be less disappointed...

I think we all need to take some time to think about the fact the store is 24/7 right next to an airport. It employed over 200 staff members who majority are under the age of 18 and some being only 14. The complaints about cleanliness is fair enough how ever do everyone a favour and try to clean up after yourselves, out your own rubbish in the bin and if the bin is over filling DONT PUT MORE RUBBISH IN THAT BIN, try another bin and notify a staff member. Some customers that go in the restaurant of my own experience say some extremely rude and insulting things to young teenagers who are working minimum wage casually and have to deal with being spoken to that way. All the complaints about the toilets sometimes surprise me as all I can think is it’s literally us that get it to that state the customers make the mess there was recently a complaint about there being urine of the floor, who pees on the floor?, and toilets being clogged, sometimes I think how do you clog a toilet? Notify a staff member about soap being empty or toilet paper need filling not wrote a review without telling someone.

It is a 24 hour “Fast food” restaurant that gets thousands of orders a day, all the food needs to be prepared and ready for very order and made in certain time limits, they can’t perfect everything, the drivethru is their main priority and they get packed and people keep going in until it goes out onto the road, and cars are beeping and complaining hence the reason it is the priority, honestly the staff out up with so much so if your order is wrong there is no need to have a cry notify the manger and they will fix it up for you and even refund it, honestly could lie and get free food is how much there care about making the...
