Pacific Dunes Greenhouse — Restaurant in New South Wales

More than an hour wait for a simple fish and chips on kids menu on an average day let alone the rest that was served even later! The place and food is ok but obviously not well staffed and poorly managed !

Hi James

It’s disappointing that, as a manager, you were unaware we hadn’t been informed of the excessively long wait time. This was a booked reservation, and we wouldn’t have accepted waiting over an hour for food for our 3- and 4-year-old children.

The shift manager tried her best when I followed up very politely at 40, 50, and 60 minutes, but the response was always, “It’s coming now.” This level of service is unacceptable.

When I asked to speak with you, you were unavailable, and we were simply told “they cant do anything about it now” and “you can lodge a formal complaint”.

I feel the need to give a review after attending countless trivia nights and regularly trying the greenhouse's dinners. I find the greenhouse has an excellent atmosphere, modern and fun, and the staff are always extremely helpful and friendly. There is a wonderful jovial atmosphere. The menu recently had a revamp and I couldn't be happier with the new items. They have this new chicken burger which is honestly one of the tastiest things I have ever eaten. It is a crispy fried chicken thigh (so moist and yet crispy) topped with mayo, salad greens and this mindblowing maple bacon jam / sauce. Somehow the flavours collide in such a way which really complement each other. I am not normally a burger person but both my partner and I have ordered it without fail every week. We had the pleasure of hosting our parents 50th Wedding Anniversary at the Greenhouse this past weekend. Everything was amazing.

We had 30 guests who all were blown away by the service, the delicious food and the space. We had a table for 30 set beautifully in the bar area and it was such a delight.

The team looked after us so well and the planning and organising beforehand was done professionally and with ease.

I am so glad we chose to host this special occasion at The Greenhouse, and more so, my parents were blown away by how special the night was....
