WARNING TO ALL My assistance dog and myself were just denied service at a cafe in Queanbeyan We were rudely told that he can deny us because we have dogs.

Assistance dogs lay under the DDA (Disability Discrimination Act 1992 - section 9.2) Legally we cannot be denied access unless the dog is causing issues. We were simply sitting awaiting our coffee.

We politely told that him that he could not deny us. And he replied with ”if you want to go to court. We will!”
