Rosanna's Southern Fried Chicken- Street Food Deli - Kelso — Restaurant in New South Wales

Tonight I paid $130 for 7 burgers and 1 family chips. We recieved burgers that had only half a sized piece of chicken and about 2 shreds of lettuce in each burger, they did not put the pineapple or bacon on one of the burgers, which we ordered gluten free. I understand the gluten free bun is often different, but tonight it was like rubber and was unable to be eaten. The family chips we recieved were in in smaller box and was only half fall compared to usual. Everything in the burgers was half the size of normal and it felt like we were just eating dry bread. I am very disgusted in what we received for what we paid. I tried to ring them to complain but they wouldn't listen and just tried to get me off the phone as quick as possible. We often ordered from this place and it is usually good but tonight it was very disgusting. I hope for other peoples sakes tonight they didn't receive such filthy...

So I’m a certified professional chef. I Went to a high end culinary school so I’m not speaking nonsense. and let me tell you. This was the worst “southern” fried chicken I’ve ever had. I am assuming it was a one off scenario as all other reviews on the fried chicken are incredible but I had the worst chicken of my life today. The drumstick tasted of fish more than it did chicken which could only mean they share the same fryer giving the chicken the fishy taste. Then the thigh pieces I had were even worse. I actually spat out a piece and couldn’t finish the other as it tasted like expired rotten chicken. So 1 of my pieces was fishy. And the other two had gone bad prior to cooking. Which is probably why it was as slimy as it was. And definitely nothing “southern” about the way...

Fish cocktails or fish nuggets? First time here after moving to Bathurst not long ago, and trying to find a good fish and chip store. Thought I'd try this place out. Service is great and friendly. Store looks inviting, clean and well maintained.

Little taken back however at the food portions for the price paid. Ordered fish cocktails and never seen anything so small in my life. These things were like nuggets and when I opened the box to see them, was disappointed. They did taste alright though, but did not reflect the price I paid in size.

All in all glad I tried it, everyone will have various opinions and all I can suggest is give it a go...
