The food was very exquisite and heavenly, This restaurant was very well managed and the service was phenomenal. There is other Thai places where we live but this is the best so far. we have been going to eat their for months and we absolutely love it they also always remember what we are going to order. I would strongly recommend trying the duck fried rice with basil and chilly. The massaman curry is good as well. Covid safe with the owner thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting each table as patrons vacate. Parking available on street and opposite. Very good portion sizes.

We had a great takeaway here that was of a very high quality throughout. Food was perfect, but I've knocked a star off as the staff were pretty rude and the food was ready before our collection time which meant it wasn't as hot as it should have been when we ate it.

Bland, flavourless food with the customer service skills of a doorknob.

We went on a weekend away to celebrate our anniversary in Nelson Bay and came across this establishment on our drive to Bannisters.

Oh boy were we disappointed.

From the get-go, the service was cold, our order was incorrect and what arrived as our replacement was slapped together in four minutes.

Abysmal customer service, the quality of the food was consistent with a Woolworths-branded microwave meal and the atmosphere was on par with question time at Canberra’s Parliament House.

If you’re after a succulent Thai meal, avoid this joint - your tears will have more flavour than their food.

P.s Rick Stein’s Masterclass at the Bannisters...

Me and my partner went there pretty hungry on a hot day. As soon as we enter, the lady at front told off my boyfriend saying we are a restaurant and please wait to be seated in the rudest tone ever (By the way the restaurant was fully empty). She reached out to take the order, we told her mains and an entree for spring rolls, she literally torn out the docket saying she has to rewrite the docket as we asked if we get the spring rolls first. It was a hot day and she literally pointed out the fan in other directions from where we were seated, again we were the only customers there.

Food wise, my boyfriend was happy with his tom yum fried rice but my pad thai was really disappointing, the veggies were...

Ordered a takeaway from this restaurant on the spur of the moment/passing by. Ordered honey chicken and spring rolls. Had some concerns straight away when I noticed one of the staff remove a large catering supply box of frozen spring rolls from a large pack from the freezer behind the counter. When I got home and opened the containers, the chicken was literally a handful of defrosted chicken nuggets, with a breadcrumb coating, and falling apart, no honey glaze and the spring rolls contained a mush of some unidentifiable and tasteless mess. The whole lot went straight into the bin. Without doubt the worst takeaway food I have ever seen. To call it “ “Thai”...
