The Golden Loy — Restaurant in New South Wales

I'll admit this is the first time I've ever given anything five stars and that's because this place simply deserves it the food is unbelievably beautiful as well as incredibly enjoyable every time I ever been to this place all they had ever been is nice I've had kids there as well and they caused an incredible mess unfortunately though I've tried not to make that possible though they are little and young and had a great time there as well the food was unbelievably good really good I'm a chef and it was good good and cheap I'm not the type of cheap you think comes with that type of food know it was really good food it tasted awesome every time I go there I have never returned to dish and that's saying something from me I promise if you go that you will enjoy your meal the service the price the location not so great but he is never anyone there and the food is so good seriously order a short soup you will get a full short soup I don't know how many dumplings there in a dam thing is heaps this place is awesome I can't rave about it enough I hope this helps other people to go there they deserve the business I got it Shellharbour I live in Shellharbour Village and no one comes close to this kind of service or food quality I'm not kidding it is good take yourself there enjoy your night enjoy your day lunch whatever it is worth your wild enjoy I know I will and I know you will too I don't work for them but damn they still good food and deserve a...

We don't normally do Chinese..but it was kids choice. Chose The Golden Loy purely because it was so close to home. It was fantastic.

The service was great. We were served as soon as we entered. Drinks and water were served as soon as we ordered. Entree out in less than 10 minutes. Staff were very friendly and attentive.

The restaurant isn't fancy, it's a humble little place..but very clean.

And the food was amazing.. not greasy or oily; Fresh crisp veggies. Everything was delicious.

Also great value. The lovely lady that took our order offered us the lunch specials even though it was Friday night dinner service. And the servings were huge.

$40 got us.. Spring rolls (6 to share) Honey chicken with fried rice Lemon chicken with fried rice King Prawn Omelette with fried rice 2 soft drinks and a big bottle of cold water to share.. I couldn't have bought 3 meals with sides and drinks plus entree at Maccas for $40.. and we took home doggie bags, so lunch is sorted tomorrow.

Shame Post :( I have never done this, so disappointed !!! Golden Loy at Albion Park Rail. 1.5 hours 3 dishes of food for delivery on a Wednesday night. Food arrived cold! Three calls chasing the food, rude people on the other end telling us that the Boss won't answer the phone because he doesn't care. Was told by 3 people that he hires people like them to deal with people like us and it happens all the time because he is gutless (their words not mine). They also said that they don't care about bad reviews they have heaps, and the offered us a $5.00 discount. Children's special dinner ..... thank you for spoiling their night.
