⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 – El Jannah Never Misses! I dropped into El Jannah the other night and, as always, it was an absolute feed to remember. From the moment we walked in, we were looked after by none other than Big Dazza himself – the kind of waiter you don’t forget. He’s got that perfect balance of friendly banter and genuine service that makes the whole experience feel like you’re being looked after by a mate who also happens to know everything about good food. Now, let’s talk about the main event: the crispy box. Honestly, it should come with a warning label, because once you start digging in, there’s no going back. The chicken was spot on – golden, crunchy, and juicy all the way through. You can tell they don’t cut corners here. The chips? Perfectly seasoned, hot, and addictive (dangerously so). Throw in the fresh bread and that legendary garlic sauce, and you’ve got yourself a combo that’s hard to beat. What I love about El Jannah is how consistent they are – you know exactly what you’re getting, and it always hits the spot. The portions are generous too, so you never walk out hungry. But the highlight for me really was the atmosphere. Big Dazza kept the laughs going, made sure our food came out quick, and even checked back in to see how we were going. It felt more like hanging out at a mate’s BBQ than just grabbing dinner. If you’re tossing up what to order, do yourself a favour and go the crispy box. Pair it with extra garlic sauce, thank me later. And if you’re lucky enough to have Big Dazza looking after your table, you’re in for a top-notch night. Verdict: El Jannah delivers every time – unbeatable food, massive portions, and service that makes you feel right at home. Can’t...
Read moreFood is great we have always been a fan of yours since your early days in Granville! However the cleanliness of your food establishment in Albion Park is probably your worst. It requires attention by your staff at all times, it is our 9th time visiting since opening in Albion Park as we now live here but the cleanliness and presentation of your dining area cannot become complacent because you serve good Lebanese charcoal chicken. Every table that did not have customers sitting had dirty food trays, chicken bones piled up as well as food left behind on seats and floors. Every time we come it’s the same with tables and I haven’t said anything until now, we’ve had to ask for table to be cleaned and the staff seemed annoyed the cloth used was filthy and prob used since the morning, as last night it seems no staff wanted to clean tables and had to be asked again. Your floors require a good deep clean with a serious bleach and gurney as they are incredibly slippery from all the food that hasn’t been cleaned properly, it’s literally left grease all under our shoes we didn’t even want to wear them in the car. The flies have been mentioned and yes come summer you will need a better management of flies being able to enter. Customer service is not only about taking our order/money but a clean and hygienic table should be on the cards also. We left our table cleaner than what we sat down to and we even wiped it down for the next people to need it and we were a group of 11 people, I know there’s bins I’m not sure if customers are expected to throw their own trays even though we do! but maybe some signage of the expectation between...
Read moreLast night, I went and ordered a burger/chips/drink/wings combo at around 645pm at about 730pm, I started to notice other people who ordered after me had gotten their food and there was others who were waiting longer than I was, too, also while looking around there was trays of food left on tables with scraps and even flies flying around. I went and asked what's taking so long, I was told that they're just waiting on the chips. It was about another 5 minutes and the table next to me got their food - they hadn't been in the shop for more than 20 mintues, the lady who gave the guy his food said something along the lines of "I put your order up before everyone else's", so I asked her where my food is. Her reply was "it's coming" from there she came out placed the food on the table, as she was walking off said "sorry about the wait". Once I started eating, I didn't feel the wait and flavour was worth the $29 I paid and the chips weren't even hot like they should have been if they were freshly cooked. Now, I understand that it is peak time for meals, but to hear someone get their meal when they havent been waiting that long while other have been waiting close to an hour is ridiculous. In my opinion, I could have gone to KFC and gotten a large Zinger box meal for around the same price and not have to...
