The View Woodfired Pizza — Restaurant in New South Wales

We're locals, but have only been down to The View a few times over the past couple of years.

Lovely spot to sit by the water and watch the sunset, but, the pizza's just aren't the best around.

They're always just a little sloppy (too much sauce maybe?), and the toppings aren't amazing. 3-stars (OK) for food.

They were busy when we rang and estimated 30 mins for pick up, which is fine, and we arrived at 35 mins to find out it was another 10-15 mins wait. No biggie, but I believe they should be able to estimate pick up times accurately. 3-stars (OK) for service.

I've also never actually seen anyone eat in before, so not much of a restaurant atmosphere. 3-stars (OK) for atmosphere.

We dined in. (Celebrating my daughter's birthday). Ordered pizza and a bottle of wine. The service from an older gentleman was not a pleasant experience. His persona was not an inviting one. Didn't give us his full attention. He moved onto the next folks waiting. We asked for ice. He said we have no ice. The view was lovely. (Better if you sit by the water with a take away) A young boy came and gave us really beautiful service and ICE. What a lovely gentle guy. The pizza was not really that great. No flavour. Staff were great. Location is fab. Pizza is terrible. They have a nice oven. Just no idea how to use it. You’re doing a good trade. Buy the proper ingredients and learn how to make pizza dough. I do it all the time it’s not hard if you have some pride in what you’re doing. And if you can’t make to the number of orders you take then just close early rather than try and do a patch job.
