Warilla Sports Club — Restaurant in New South Wales

Went there for a group dinner (8) with friends. We had booked a table in the bistro, it was so busy and packed in there we opted to sit in the lounge for dinner. Watching meal sizes coming to to others, all meals looked sizable. We had 2x parmi (both large, though vastly different in sizes. 1 looked like it came off a emu lol), child's chicken fingers and chips (chicken fingers were nuggets... no big deal unless you have a child on the spectrum that are food specific), chicken caesar bugger was good (again the same issue with snitzel sizing. Table next to us had one and it was HUGE, our a standard size), Pork Belly was delicious and cooked to perfection, Berties Barra was lovely, though vegetables were so over cooked the Broccoli feel apart, carrots were rubbery (couldn't eat), and I had the lasagne, generous serve... but it was so dark, dry and with massive chunks of dry mince, with no flavour. Side salad was delicious, though. The 2 very young staff that collected the still quite full plates moved people's drinks on them by the rim of the glass, dropped food in people's laps. They need some work on how to do things.

Being anzac day the people of today's society can become unhumble and making venues harder to get it .On arrival we were greeted with new rules for the day which made our family event looking dim .I could totally understand the rules as everyone wants to be in a safe and friendly environment and understood our diar situation and commimiacation was the key of the door lady and from ourselves and due to calmness and respect our night and booking was able to be fulfilled .Having been successfully able to get our delicious dinner a couple of drinks I cant be thankful enough for the great service and humanity of our usual birthday dinner events we love to have at the warilla sports club ..places like this are hard to come by and that's why we've been going for over 10 years now .great place thank...

I just want to say a BIG THANKYOU to The Sporties Club for looking after us for our son's 21st 20th May the function room was set up beautifully by the bistro.We catered for a 3 course meal and the food was absolutely lovely we had complements from everyone well done to everyone working in the bistro your food was a huge success. I must also mention the lovely staff behind the bar they were so courteous towards our guests thankyou also the restrooms were so clean .
