There is a lot of food outlets inside the club. However, there is no 'cheap' option for people on a limited budget. The food, in my humble opinion, it is very expensive.

They do not cater for people with limited mobility who have come to watch the football on the field at the back of the club.

I attended the club, with family members, to watch the Wyong Roos Rugby League team play in the NSW Cup (Intrust Super Premiership). We arrived a fair while before the game started and were hoping to purchase a small 'budget' meal or snack. The bistro was closing as we arrived. A cup of coffee was the only thing available to purchase on a tight budget.

When accessing the football field behind the club, there is no easy access for people with limited mobility. The options were to be 'assisted' down a steep flight of stairs, or exit the main entrance of the club and proceed a fairly long distance around the club itself, to the football field. The second option is impracticle.

There was food being cooked by the field, but the general public could not purchase it, as the food was "for the Wyong Roos players". I did notice some people who were not players had access to the food though.

There was another food outlet beside the field, however, the range was limited, unless you like exotic flavoured pies.

At the end of the football game, access to the club was again the two (2) options of climbing the steep flight of stairs, or proceeding around the club to access the main entrance.

We decided to climb the stairs, as it was too far to get to the main entrance (around the club). There was no one to assist us up the stairs, as the person who had asisted us down the stairs earlier, had left the area.

Getting to the back entrance, the door was locked. It took a long time to get anyones attention, and finally another patron noticed us 'stuck' at the back door.

The patron attempted to open the door, and was surprised that it was locked. This patron left to notify a staff member of the situation. Durung this time several other patrons, after their initial surprise, attempted to open the door, but they all failed.

A staff member arrived and saw that the door was locked. This person was shocked that we could not access the club, and that the door was locked. The person tried, but could not unlock the door. The staff member left to get another staff member. This 'new' staff member was also shocked that the door was locked, but they could not unlock the door.

Eventually another staff member was summoned, and after their initial shock that the door was locked, they were able to unlock the door and we gained access to the club.

I am very hesitant to go back to the club at any time after thus experience. Therefore, my family members and I will not be able to watch the live football games held at...

Absolutely appalling Christmas Day Lunch Event.. We were booked for the 1:15 Christmas Lunch.. Line after Line filled with elderly people, people with disabilities who couldn't stand & people like myself with invisible disabilities waiting in lines not knowing what wer were waiting for, no information as to what the hold up was. We were in the line just to get in and be seated. It's myself as the only adult with my kids. An old man in the line started telling out " scumbags" & "cowards" & obtuse language yelling so loudly. It turned out it was us he was screaming at. He accuses us if pushing in of which we hadn't we had been there like half hour at least at this point. His family apologised on his behalf & said he needed to sit down but this was an awful thing to experience on Christmas Day. There was no security or anyone managing the crowd. This could have been avoided if the event was run properly. I feel the club really owes us an apology for putting us through that as it could've been avoided. We finally get our table but get straight into the food line of which we waited another 40mins or so. We arrived at the club around 1pm for a 1:15 lunch, I finally sat down to eat 2:35pm!! And some people still hadn't got food by then & were still lined up. There was no going back for more even though it was meant to be a buffet as the lines kept long until close to 4 o'clock of which by then we wanted to go. It was meant to be a festive Christmas Day & the rugby club made it so U enjoyable we would never recommend anyone go to an event there ever. We also witnessed a young, blonde girl get screamed at by men from the same group that was rude to us. This is unacceptable for staff to experience & us to be exposed too & there was NO security around anywhere! If we could've got a refund we would have but people in the line asked & were told no because it was a third party who sold the tickets. To be honest we think the rugby club needs to make ammends to those of us affected which was most everyone at the 1:15 time slot. Very upset & disappointed our Christmas lunch was ruined by the Club's poor management of this event & yes it was RUINED which is a term I wouldn't...

So my partner & I decided for the first time; to go to the club for a few drinks.. we arrived and paid for a new membership. We sat upstairs in a lovely little booth and enjoyed our night. That is until about midnight. We went to organise another drink & were then told by the bar staff that they were closed and had to get our drinks from downstairs. This is where everything got traumatic. I told my partner to wait upstairs while i went and got our drinks and would be back. His phone had died but we didnt think that would be an issue at the time. After ordering the drinks i came back and noticed a rope across the escalator. I didnt think much and thought it was broken down. So i decided to take the elevator. Thats when this rude large man roughly put his arm in the elevator and said “NO UPSTAIRS” I explained to him my partner was up there and his phone was dead. He refused to let me get him . So i asked him whether he would go ip and get him “not my problem, im the manager and i said no” I was left crying in the loft area . I was stuck for 10-15 minutes until another security guard finally helped and offered to get my partner. I was horrified i was treated the way i was and will never...

Wyong Roos Rugby league 🏉Club is a major club in the Whole of the Central Coast. Situated in Kanwell. It is large, modern & double storey, with many dining options ,the very best poker machines, lounges & bars. The staff are friendly & helpful, A courtesy bus 🚌 is available, taxis 🚕, & public bus stops are immediately outside. Many activities are available, I myself attended the darts competition & had an enjoyable time amongst welcoming & friendly competitors.🎯🎯🎯

Had Covid test - turn left when you drive into the club. There are 2 bays and I was in and out in ten minutes - I didn't have to get out of the car but I had to fill in an A4 sized form. Take something firm to write on as the ladies just hand you a loose floppy piece of paper. Luckily I had a box of tissues to rest the paper on in order to fill in the form.

Good choice of drinks on tap. Tasty Mexican salad and ok pizza. A large portion of restaurant stunk due to cigarette smoke wafting in from alfresco gaming. Annoyingly loud speaker announcements of winning raffle numbers. Would be better served to just show on tv screens. Friendly and helpful staff.
