RE: Dylan & Hunter Reynolds
Dylan:
Thank you for your review. We regret you did not have a good experience at our restaurant and endeavor to improve for next time.
We appreciate your feedback regarding the quality of our food. However, it appears there has been a miscommunication.
The particular dish referred to the waitress was Chicken Satay Skewers. She did not say that we “can’t cook Thai food” due to an inability to acquire ingredients - she meant that we do not serve it like it is in some particular regions of Thailand, where smaller amounts of chicken are used on longer skewers (most likely, the style you are accustomed to). Instead, we serve it as a main-sized dish with larger pieces as stated in the menu, and so charge the price of a main-sized dish. This does not compromise the quality of the dish; it merely alters presentation and suits the clientele.
Hunter:
As in Dylan’s review, there appears to have been several miscommunications.
We regret you did not enjoy your Lamb Dish and Chicken Satay Skewers, but are confused why you did not take our offer to replace/swap the dishes when you expressed unhappiness with them. At this point you were obligated to pay for it as it had been partially consumed.
Dishes were removed from the table as per standard restaurant practice when customers have finished their meal.
Authorities were called only when you refused to pay for your meal. The call was later justified when the owner was physically pushed.
We are unsure how the chef’s religious orientation is relevant to this matter.
We appreciate if you would refrain from leaving any more voicemails that are unrelated to our service.
We apologise for any animosity this unfortunate scenario has produced.

Read moreThis place had a lovely setting with great ambience. The food was great however our experience was less than pleasant. We arrived at 6:30, and waited an hour and a half for our mains. The entrees arrived at 7:30, and we didn’t get mains until around 8pm. One from our table had to chase his main as it hadn’t arrived with the other mains 15 minutes later. The server, instead of tracking down the main meal, decided to argue the point with us. He got angry that we had mentioned our long wait time in front of other customers and tried to justify the delay because we had ordered entrees. We did not ask about the missing meal in a confrontational manner however the server certainly made it seem that way when he returned to our table after we had gotten the meal and further pushed his point that our wait time was acceptable. To make matters worse, a couple that had arrived AFTER us had already received their entrees and were onto their mains before we even got our entrees. The bill included two sides of rice we ordered but never received, which we had to explain and get removed from the final bill. I can understand it was a busy night but that sort of wait for food and then attitude made the nice food much...
Read moreSecond chance here and final attempt. The food is just okay but the service is sooo slow! Seriously get your act together. Checking on a table for drinks/ more food items etc makes YOU money. Almost need to hold up a stop here flag for attention. Both visits not that busy and still slow to serve and slow to deliver food to table.
Guaranteed that the soggy cold deep fried ice cream would be hot on arrival- told on exit that it cools down when the (unnecessary) whipped cream is added downstairs. So it’s not hot then is it! Deep fried ice cream is a fabulous hot ball with rock hard cold ice cream inside and gooey caramel melting over the top from the HOT crust.. it’s not a soggy remnant of a previous life in the freezer. Anyway your service is slow, unprofessional and slap hazard and the food average. The opportunities for repeat business from new customers dwindles by the day.. Imagine how fabulous it could be with actual effort on the restaurant floor and a bit of love...
