Oporto Gateshead Drive Thru — Restaurant in Newcastle-Maitland

Dropped in to Oporto for dinner after visiting family at the Lake Macquarie hospital. Parking was easy. Store appeared clean although no other customers at the time.

Order two wraps and a salad bowel and a large chips. Service was prompt and food was quick (we were the only customers).

When food arrived we did question the chips as the container was very small given it was a large chips. Wouldn't want to see what the small size was.

Back in the car we had to work out which wrap was which as there was no markings to identify. Not a huge deal but would of thought this would be a a standard a store would do when making similar products that look the same when wrapped.

Food was ok being fast food, and certainly tasted healthier than other...

A young girl served us (me and a mate) her name started with an "S" Filled our bags and we walked out, as we walked out we checked the contents of the bag to find we were both a burger short. Went back in and informed us that she forgot to put our 2nd burgers in our bags.... we then left with our 2nd burgers and both of us got home to find that we had been given each others burgers.... my friend been allergic to pinapple had to throw the 2nd burger out, mine was the same as the first one i ordered...extremely disappointed and not been from around here had no other dinner options. Don't know of i just have bad luck at this oporto but the 2 times I have been here something has gone wrong. First time I was missing items but it was a huge order at peak time so I shrugged it off, this time I order on the app to get fresh hot food and got stuck behind 1 car that took 12min to serve and instead of asking them to pull into the wait bay so they can serve other customers I was stuck there while my food want semi cold. Got to the windows ask for a refund and they said they couldn't cuz I order via the app and offered for me to wait longer so they could recook it.
