I read online the vulgar and obscene, yet most refreshingly appropriate, response this business owner gave to Mr Latroll's review which I wholeheartedly both congratulate and applaud! I too have a small business and suffer at the hands of craven weaklings and pusillanimous cowards who lack the moral or physical courage of personally giving me their feedback so that I may remedy whatever it is, either imagined or real, that they may be aggrieved about. What Mr Latroll patently fails to understand is the reputational damage even one bad Google review may evoke and provoke. Obviously he does not have a small business, an online business, or any kind of business, otherwise he would not have posted his review publicly besmirching a business for the whole world to read. That said, I disapprove of Google allowing negative Customer reviews to be posted online. We can already perceive in the owner's response the threat of violence or cause bodily harm to Mr Latroll. What then if someone gets killed because of one or more bad reviews? Should Google be charged with facilitating murder? Heed this post and mark my words, someone, somewhere, sometime at some place, will kill another person because of a negative Google review. And wasn't Google's corporate motto "Don't be evil" ...
Read moreI have usually had great experiences here until today. The lady serving with the purple hair this morning was very rude. The person who I was with came in with his mask on and due to it being under his nose she aggressively infront of other customers told him off for wearing it wrong and as he adjusted it she continued to aggressively say infront of everyone that there is no point for him being there and wearing it if it is not on correctly. A genuine error from his end turned worst by the lady as she tried to shame him infront of the other customers. We were returning customers and we spend decently each time we come in, but her service was appalling and has really ruined her chances of us ever coming back here. We left straight away and will not return. I hope her action's are dealt with accordingly as she didn't even think to speak to him kindly and not to mention no greeting as we walked in either. I can't imagine what others have gone through with her, if you are having a bad day - don't be out the front serving. We tried to support local but not again...
Read moreWell it is obvious that the recent negative reviews are from the same person. They all just happen to say the same thing and posted within a few hours after the news article went viral. It doesn't take a genius to work that out. Kind of pathetic if you ask me. I have visited this bakery many times and have never had a cold pie ever but all of a sudden, all these people are saying they were served cold pies. Do they realise that they are actually bumping up the business' star rating even by giving negative reviews and 1 star. In the end, all publicity, good or bad benefits the business owner, so I guess these trolls will have to wait in line that little bit longer when wanting...
