Pop Rocket Cafe — Restaurant in Northern Territory

Great little cafe on the banks of the Katherine river just 200 meters from the Katherine Hot Springs. Real breath of fresh air for bfast and lunch in Katherine, the Pop Rocket Cafe has a great menu. We had the smoked salmon sushi bowl and the smoked eggplant sushi bowl, $15 each, both sushi bowls were beautiful and fresh, add ice coffee and a flat white coffee and It really hit the spot. The tour operators from Katherine Gorge told us to come here for food. Far out we weren't expecting this! It was delicious, so well priced and the staff was lovely. Such a welcome change from the pub grub weve been living on for this trip.

Right next to the highly underrated Katherine Hot Springs (which had about 500 less people than other swimming holes we visited).

The BEST place in Katherine to enjoy breakfast and lunch. 😋 Situated close to the hot springs - outdoors, soak up the sun or take shade under the large trees. The team are super efficient and service is quick and friendly. The prices are very reasonable and the food delicious. All meals served in quality bowls and mugs with real cutlery.
