This is the best place to find authentic south Indian food in Alice Springs. The owners seem care about the quality of what they are serving and it shows. The food is delicious, a great balance of flavours, spices, and textures. Meat is not gristly like a lot of other places, and is cooked tender. They also make the best naan bread in town - cripsy on the outer and flaky inside, and freshly cooked (not tasteless and highly processed supermarket stuff). Masala dosa is a favourite - their sambal and coconut chutney has actual taste! Chole Battura is spot on! Goat curry and chicken chettinad is also the best in town. Read moreIt’s a one big hall with seats in it so in terms of decor it needs some creativity, we felt as if we were eating in a barrack. The staff was a bit cold in behaviour and did not seem too happy to see us. The food preparation took a very long time and the lady missed out order twice so while we were waiting for the food it was never coming and then instead of apologising she kept on arguing.
