Abysmal Experience at "Deebos" Avoid at All Costs Tonight was, without a doubt, one of the worst bar experiences I've ever had, making Deebos a strong contender for the worst establishment in Perth.
What started as a simple outing to watch the footy with a few mates quickly devolved into a bizarre and infuriating ordeal.
Upon arriving, I was met with immediate inflexibility at the bar. When I requested a jug of Little Creatures Pale Ale, I was curtly informed that jugs are only available for sponsored beers. This ridiculous policy is a joke – it is a bar, not a corporate showcase…
The real descent into madness began when my friend and I attempted to play a game of pool. We placed our $2 coin on the table, following the universally accepted pub etiquette that signifies “you're next”.
The family currently playing, however, refused to acknowledge this common courtesy. While I understand it's not a legally binding rule, their dismissal of it was the first sign of an entitled attitude.
After their game, as my friend and I started our own, the situation escalated dramatically. The large man who had just played (for hours), along with his entire family, began to threaten and harass us, demanding a 2v2 game. When we politely declined, this man, astonishingly, claimed he owns the table.
This claim is not only ludicrous but also deeply concerning, especially given that his daughter is, bafflingly, a bartender at the venue.
Instead of de-escalating the situation, this family of five, who were the aggressors, decided to call the police on us, the non-offenders. This move is utterly insane and highlights the truly toxic environment fostered at Deebos, where it seems that those with connections to the staff believe they are above common decency and pub rules.
The level of unprofessionalism, combined with the outright hostile and threatening behavior of other patrons who seem to be connected to the staff, makes Deebos a place to be avoided at all costs.
Save your money and your sanity, and go literally anywhere else in...

When I got in there to order a takeaway, the place was somewhat busy, but still spare tables. I ended up ordering dinner 4 burgers and onion rings sides. Tried to order jalepeno poppers but told ran out.
When we ordered the lady said "its a bit of a wait" I thought no problems, the old man and I can have a beer and catch up.
We both got stuck talking, not realising the time. It got to about 45 minutes and we started to look around, only one big table left, couple of small tables left.
Time got to an hour waiting. We asked the lady at the bar if the order was coming. She went of and asked and came back few moments later and said " have been told its coming"
We waited another 15 minutes and asked again, the lady came back and said "I'm sorry I just got yelled at by the kitchen for asking"
Another 5 or so minutes the manager came out with the order, apologised and offered 5 soft drinks as compo for waiting. I said "we dont want something small, just be upfront and tell us throughout."
The food was good, just a shame we waited so long. Shane you cant order online, but don't know if they could handle...
Read moreWent tonight, there is a 100 people gathering ban in Australia and there was well over 100 people there all crammed into the space which was alarm bells in the first place. I ordered a CHEESEBURGER and it took an hour to come out? why is there about 2 staff on on a Friday night? Not only that we had dirty plates on our table from the people before us that were never moved the whole two hours we were there!!!!! I don't blame the staff on I blame the owners for not putting enough staff on! when my meal finally arrived The whole thing was thrown onto the plate they really need to work on making there dishes look nicer or slashing half the price. Twelve dollars for a burger that looked and tasted like a $2 macdonalds cheeseburger. At least have sauce (maybe an Aioli) that comes...
