Right from my uni days (2012), this was a favourite place of mine. Very budget friendly, especially when you are a student. At $5.50 we would get a small portion of rice, a maryland leg piece or a breast piece of chicken and a small portion of green veges. My son was starting uni soon, so I showed him this place if he wanted to grab a meal at a student friendly price. It was now $7.50 (a $2 increase in 12 years). Still the same food and portions and still the same taste. Place is clean, the staff friendly and at $7.50 a meal it is a boon to students and budget conscious people. Read moreI'm not really one to comment on a food outlet, but I've been very lucky to have eaten at G-Fun. Their food is nostalgic and absolutely delicious. The prices and portion of their food is a bench mark on how some food retailers should operate. Their value for money prices means that from a school student to someone living on a budget could afford to eat them on a daily basis. Their low price isn't a sacrifice for quality or taste. Read moreI quite often drop in and buy takeaway from this restaurant. Last night i bought 2 x bbcue chicken and fried rice, a beef curry and rice and a plain grilled chicken and rice. I don't think i have ever been so sick with food poisoning ever. I am so upset and sick. It started at 8am this morning. I have been vomitting and stuck in the bathroom for 18 hrs so far. With no signs of improvement.
