Got to admit, I've never really had any problems here. Can be a little noisy at times, but usually not too bad. Definitely several cuts above the Spearwood store; no idea why that one has such terrible service but this one seems to be able to have someone behind the counter without having to wait 15 minutes in an apparently empty store. Plus actually working order screens, too, if you're into that.
Parking is fairly good - there's only a dozen or so nearby bays but it's part of a complex which has more if you don't mind a short walk. About the only issue is finding a way to turn back onto South St going west, if traffic is heavy (rush hour etc). Your best bet there is honestly to use the roundabout-equipped entrance to the west of the McDonalds, turn onto South St going east, take a right at the first lights onto McCombe Ave, follow it down to the Winterfold Rd roundabout, take a right, then look for the lights at the Stock Rd intersection and turn right there. This will bring you back towards South St and you can make a left turn at the intersection to get you headed west. Anything else will have you lost in the endless backstreets of O'Connor or Samson, unless you want to head east to North Lake Road, then use that to reach Leach Hwy and head back west that way. It'd be a lot easier if the McCombe lights...
Read moreWent in for a couple of sausage McMuffins and I'm started to find this more and more at Macca's lately, food being cold. I liked the old system where they made the burgers up and put them in the warmer with the aluminium timer numbers and would get binned after 10-15 minutes if not sold. It's funny how lunch bars leave burgers in the Warner's for 3-4 hours but Macca's chucked them out straight after that 15 minutes maybe 20. That's what happens when people complained about being microwave burgers. I know they didn't have microwaves at all back then. HJs did. Now the meat eggs and bacon sit in a bane Marie being warmed for long times instead of being freshly grilled. Still no excuse for the buns being not even toasted. Used to Bev's good McDonald's restaurant but definately lowered their standards. The last meal I had was average from here was pretty average as well. I should have learnt from that experience but in general all McDonald's aren't as good as they used to be. Some of the north of river stores are really good though and not just Macca's. All in...
Read moreYet another Mc Donald’s focused on drive thru and Uber deliveries then actual customers in the store. Really beginning to think there has to be better options then waiting 20 mins for a meal and then getting a cold meal. But by the time we are fed up and want money back it’s easier to just get it and leave which I think is their plan on the first place.
Then to cap it all off we get a bloody pattie that was not even close to cooked. Returned and waited for what appears to be the same to recoiled and returned.
If your looking for food poisoning to get out of work here’s the place to eat.
Burgers are at least cooked at hungry jacks
Typical McDonalds, ignore a review and hope that it goes away. Maybe if you put more focus on the customers that actually prefer in you restaurants and served food that was actually cooked things would go...
