KFC Ocean Grove — Restaurant in Ocean Grove

On the night of Thursday 28 November 2019, I visited the KFC outlet in Ocean Grove and placed an order for a pack of 10 original recipe chicken pieces (in addition to a few other items). I requested as few wings as possible, as it was meant to feed four adults. I am aware that staff must include some wings with chicken packs, but had hoped for only two, maybe three at the very most. We ended up with SIX wings in a pack of 10 pieces of chicken. This is utterly unacceptable. I immediately called the store to express my disappointment and frustration, and was offered a $20 voucher to be emailed to me as compensation for the poor service. I accepted this, as it was not possible at that time to return to the store. As of now, two days later, I have not received the promised voucher and, based on the persistently poor quality of the service at Ocean Grove store, do not expect to ever receive it. The standard of customer service at KFC Ocean Grove is truly pathetic and I cannot recommend highly enough that potential customers STAY WELL AWAY from this shoddy, awfully...

Went in store last night to order. They nearly "forgot" one of the drinks and then it was the wrong size. They call the orders by the food ordered not the number. The number is so much easier guys trust me. They forgot the twister and had to add it. We did check before leaving but not carefully enough the twister turned out to be the slider!!!!!! I couldn't be bothered going back or calling at that point. The chips were also so salty it was ridiculous.

Whomever runs the franchise needs to get in touch with head office to organise refresher training it may help but based in the other reviews I doubt it.

Save yourself time and go...

Ordered via Menulog, order was cancelled by the restaurant as unable to fulfil. Ordered via the KFC website a second later and delivered within 10 minutes via DoorDash. If you aren't going to use Menulog, get your restaurant off there. Despite fast delivery the food was cold. The "pieces" of boneless chicken we dried up nubs barely recognisable as chicken, the Zinger Crunch Burger was a wet mess of coleslaw. KFC isn't great, there is a reason we call it "dirty bird" and ordering some "disappointment" but Ocean Grove KFC used to be one of the good ones. Not any more,...
