Two Doors Down Ocean Grove — Restaurant in Ocean Grove

Hello! I'm from Melbourne, the hub for interesting hole-in-wall cafes and great quality coffee. Stayed in OG for a few months..and discovered this place! I've been coming here several times a week for a coffee, with my laptop. They have the good quality Code Black coffee beans (Decaf - using chemical-free Swiss water© method). A nice selection of yummy things to eat, catering for sweet tooth but also more natural nourishing 'healthy' taste buds (their chia pudding cups are yum), plus some really nice products like journals, diaries, sage smudge sticks etc to browse and buy. It's easy to miss this little cafe in the industrial estate of OG, so look out for the sign. Light filled and with heaps of plants inside, and view outside of green and more green makes it extra pleasant. Though what stands out the most for me that brings me back here as my home (office) away from home is the tranquil super friendly vibe. Was a toss up between this and another cafe near by, but the other cafe had a few negative reviews and another about a rude manager. We made the right choice. The food here was incredible and the portions very generous. They were understaffed today, reckon they had about 3 people doing the work of 6 and of course when that happens, the patrons all come at once. Food came out quickly considering this and the manager (think she was the manager/owner) was always apologetic and kept checking on us, as did the barista (think he was a fill in too) great food, spoilt for choice and well priced. There a walking track shortcut to get here that Google maps doesn’t know about. If you live on Evergreen Cct or Greenview Rise then this place is a 10-15 walk away. Just go in the general direction of the cafe and you’ll find the shortcut I’m talking about. Coffee was good. Bacon and egg was good. Nice little cafe in a weird little spot.
