If you are in the area (mostly heading towards or away from the Parkes Observatory) do yourself a favour and have a stop at 86 Cino. The lovely Sandra is a delight to talk to, with many interesting anecdotes and experiences of her travels all around the world. The Thai soup was tasty as, the egg sandwich was filling and the coffee was excellent. The interiors of the cafe are very Parisian, and when you speak with Sandra you’ll understand why. Plenty of free on-street (reverse park at a 45 degree angle in NSW), with clean public toilets a very short walk in the neighbourhood. When you do visit 86 Chino, give her our regards (say it’s from the folks who stopped by on their way to ‘chasing the warmer weather’)

This highly instagrammable cute cafe serves the best tastiest and sandwiches for a very reasonable price. The service is quick and yet personalised. I would skip any other cafe in Parkes and Peak Hill for the excellent food and atmosphere provided here. This is a picture of a chicken, pineapple, tomato cheese toasty that is generous serve under 10 dollars.

Just amazing, super welcoming and the food was awesome. We stopped after visiting the gold mines and we were treated like friends from the owner. The food size was generous and the super duper milk shake was so big, we took the rest as take away on our road trip. We will be back if we are around in the area and highly recommend this place.

We stopped in here to get a bite to eat before we headed up to look at the mine. The customer service was appalling. We waited 10-15 minutes before we were even acknowledged (there was only one other table of 4 people in there at the time, and they were being served through out this whole process), and when we were greeted, it was with an 'Oh no, are you serious, now I have to clean up this mess!'. No hello or anything. My daughter had accidently spilt a little bit of sugar on the table and we were in the process of wiping it up with a wipe. I apologised. The lady then walked off to grab a cloth and came back and proceeded to grouch at us for making a mess and that we will now attract ants. The lady then left to do dishes and did not ask us for our order. So we walked out. We have never been made to feel like such an inconvenience to anyone like...

Lovely coffee shop with delicious self made cakes and light meals and best coffee in town. A stopover is a must, if you come through Peak Hill on your way. Have a walk through this little town , giving you a taste of original Australia still. The owner of the 86 chino coffee shop is called Sandra , who is such a friendly and lovely lady, serving you your individual delicious wishes and giving you interesting talks , as she saw a lot of places all around the world . So, have a coffee, have a cake ......have your break !!!...
