Finally tried the new Starbucks! After giving it some time to ease as it was all new & exciting for a long while.
I had ordered a Frappuccino cookies & cream, one with coffee & another without. A raspberry friand on the side as I always LOVE a good friand any chance I could get!! Love the Starbucks merch as I purchased one their tall straw cups & a mug.
Sizing & Pricing; So worth it the tall straw cup, as it took me a good amount of time to finish & you get discounted drink having your own cup.. as I looked more into their cup sizes along with drink options, looks to be real overpriced for drinks & really using the brand to be like this.. Really made me think twice about MuzzBuzz (one of my go to) if they are that much pricey š¤
Drinks; Frappuccinos wasnāt what I expected! First, requested one without coffee as partner cannot have caffeine.. and they seemed to either not communicated or were in that much of a rush to just make both the same. It was addressed to them that weād need it remade due to health reasons, the young lady apologised & remade the drink. Second, taste testing both with and without coffee..They DID NOT taste like the cookies & cream I was expecting, as a lot of other locations Iāve been to would all taste more similar.. in conclusion, both drinks werenāt finished. Iād look into trying a different drink.. wondering if itās just poor first impressions choice š§ Finally, the coffee was not bitter & didnāt leave a rough taste on my tongue. Not the best coffee in Perth, but not terrible! Again, open to try other drinks to give a second CERTAIN opinion!
Food; The Friand had a coconut taste to it as lots of other friands Iāve tried around Perth wouldnāt have coconut, so I was hit with that little bit of sweet, rich coconut taste. Was not asked if wanted it warmed up, if that was an option? Therefore had a cold Friand with my drink. Thereās quite an amount of tasty options of cafe foods that Iām excited to look more into & to try! Will absolutely go back to taste test majority as I could š
All in total, x2 frappuccinos, x2 cups merch & friand costed about $90.
Will come again to try other products to have a proper opinion, but so far for first impressions as an experienced barista & restaurant manager - very nice space to relax with friends & family to have a drink & meal. Quite pricey.. and by the looks of other particular reviews, a lot of HIGH expectations & let downs.. ALL...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have visited this Starbucks almost every day for over three months. The drinks are consistently great, the food is solid, and the vibe is always welcoming.
It is the first Starbucks in WA and packed every day with queues out the door, especially during school holidays. That speaks for itself. So when I read one-star reviews claiming it is never clean or that staff are rude, I find it hard to take seriously.
Someone complained that a staff member was rude. Ever had a tough day? These are real people working under pressure, short-staffed, serving hundreds non-stop. If a staff member does not smile like a robot every second, maybe give them the same grace you expect yourself.
The ānever cleanā comment is just false. I have seen staff cleaning constantly between rushes. The real issue is grown adults leaving food scraps, wrappers, and spilled drinks everywhere. I watched one group leave a table covered in trash, then walk off. The bins are right next to the door. You are strong enough to write a bad review but not strong enough to put your rubbish in the bin? That is not a store problem. That is a self-respect problem.
Any decent person can see how under the pump these staff are. If you have even an ounce of care for others, put your rubbish in the bin. You are either part of the solution or part of the problem.
This is a fast-service cafƩ. You order, eat or drink, and throw your rubbish away. That is how it works.
The team here shows up under pressure and keeps things moving. They deserve respect, not complaints.
If a crumb on the floor or a messy table left by a lazy customer does not ruin your day, I highly recommend this place.
The only real mess here is in the reviews from people who cannot use a bin or get offended when a human does not act like a...

Took my teenage nephews here because they were convinced by some influencer online that Starbucks is basically heaven in a cup. Spoiler: itās not.
First, I ordered a cappuccino, which came out looking like something Iād get from 7-Eleven for $2ābut this one cost me $5.80. For that price, I expected at least a sprinkle of magic, not just overpriced disappointment.
The menu? Oh, itās there⦠somewhere. You just need eagle vision or a telescope to read it from the counter. By the time I figured it out, Iād aged five years.
The tables? Never cleaned. They were covered in enough crumbs to start a new bakery, and the place smelled like someoneās lunch from last week. And donāt get me started on the parking. If you dare park near the shop, youāll be stuck for life in the endless line of cars queuing for the drive-through. I felt like I needed a rescue team to get out of there.
The staff? Lovely people, honestly. Smiling through the chaos like champions, even though you could tell they knew the corner coffee shop is running laps around them with better coffee and prices.
Now, the nephews. These kids were vibrating with excitement for their āfancyā drinks. First sip? Their one-word review: āblunt.ā And no, not in the ācoolā wayāit was their nice way of saying, āThis sucks.ā
If youāre thinking of grabbing coffee here, save yourself the trouble. The coffee tastes like 7-Elevenāsādull, burnt, and overpricedābut at least 7-Eleven doesnāt make you fight for parking or sit in the smell of farts.
Overall, Iāll give it 2 stars. One for the staff still managing to smile under pressure and one because⦠well, at least it didnāt poison me. But honestly? Next time, Iām just...
