I’m sure this is a one off scenario as most of the reviews are excellent.
However, our experience was unfortunate. We thought the service was a little rude. We felt unwelcome.
We had 2 x $85 2 course meal, both my partner and I had a pasta which was lovley. We both had Lamb for main. My partner chose not to eat the dish as she wasn’t sure of the quality of what was in-front of her…. I pressed on … had most of the lamb ‘Agnelo’. The following morning, I woke up feeling unwell, we believe I was suffering from food poisoning, from the food. …..I was violently Ill…. And the trip home to Sydney was eventful to say the least.
I’m sure this is a one off scenario. But I hope this information finds the correct people.
I appreciate running a small business is difficult, and this may have just been a busy evening where a minor detail was missed. However I felt I necessary to inform.
Thankyou and best of luck...
Read moreThe venue is in a lovely location and the atmosphere is cosy. It was a bit awkward when you walk in as there is no clear welcome spot to wait to be seated or be welcomed by a staff member. The casual dining menu was severely overpriced with limited options. Ordered $38 garlic prawns from main menu, and only 5 prawns came out, which would have been reasonable for an entree size but not for a main. The staff were friendly, but this outing was not value for money, as the only other two options were a burger and chips or fish and chips which were also overpriced for what you get. The fine dining experience may be more promising but you need to be willing to spend $85 per person to start and there is no guarantee that the portion size will reflect your expectations. Not enough Italian options mains for it to be called an Italian restaurant really. Unfortunately a beautiful spot but not...
Read moreWhat a lovely experience to taste such delicious food! Started by sharing some fresh and plump rock oysters. Next was an angel hair pasta with crab. I’ve had this dish in many restaurants, and Pescara’s version was the best so far! Beautifully seasoned, lots of crab, and the right hum of chilli. Main course was a fillet of barramundi with prawns and mussels in a light tomato sauce. Delicious. Dessert: affogato… simple and classic. My companions had tiramisu which was such a decadent mountain of yumminess that I may have had some dessert envy, but luckily they let me try it. Delightful wine list with some interesting offers. We drank a lovely Gavi and Chianti to keep with the Italian theme. Everything was so good I couldn’t fault it! The chef is doing an amazing job here: thank you. I will recommend this restaurant to all my friends. I thoroughly enjoyed this...
