Travelled from Coober Pedy to Port Augusta last night via GREYHOUND BUS SERVICE, Bus stopped at Puma Service station. I asked the staff member who worked last night at the PUMA SERVICE STATION (5th of Dec 2017) - mid age man, whether I can wait inside until my mate pick me up. Said no, didn't give me a reason very rude. I had to walk around 2km to BP SERVICE STATION Near by at 3AM. Big thank to friendly BP SERVICE STATION STAFF TO helping me out last night. I believe Puma Service station should take care of GREYHOUND customers Not BP.
GREYHOUND should take care of their customers at best, make sure passengers face no difficulties at the middle of the night. I strongly suggest GREYHOUND BUS Should stop at BP SERVICE STATION not tiny crappie place like PUMA...
Read moreIt's ok but it's a PAIN IN THE ASS when caravans and RVs are blocking off all the diesel pumps when it's clearly marked trucks only. Public holidays and the height of the tourist season is worst. They need to fix this. Showers generally good , food not bad.
Edit: This place has gone from bad to worse. 16 May 2017, 5.30 PM, there's a huge line up at the counter because they have deleted the fuel desk with a recent "upgrade". Now you have to wait for ages to pay for fuel alongside those buying cappuccinos and fast food. Only one person handling all this plus one cook. Many people not happy. Memo to BP: you can cut costs only so much before people go somewhere else,...
Read more4 june 2017 just stopped at the cafe at bp port augusta...lunch time n its understaffed..only one person serving for food fuel... .food in the bay Marie was dry n unappetizing....i ordered a milkshake....waiting....people ordered after me got their toasted sandwiches...i ask about my milkshake n was told i had to wait until all the customers were served...i asked for money back...my friends brought a salad roll which was not fresh n left a bad after taste...these people need to take lessons from the bp at port Wakefield ...much better food n service ....not stopping at port...
