Palate 2 Palette — Restaurant in Port Broughton

We visited Port Broughton a few weeks ago and tried both the pub and Palate2Palate for dinner. Please, please, please make sure you have dinner HERE! The owner was so wonderful and the food was very tasty and fun. Everything was so fresh and thought out. We went with out 2 children under 10 and had such a wonderful night. When we had dinner at the pub it was crowded, noisy, and a long wait. We pretty much had 1 drink, our food and got out of there. At Palate2Palate we could slow down and enjoy ourselves and out food. We ended up spending easily double what we normally would to go out (and the prices are extremely reasonable) - because we just wanted to stay! I'm so grateful we decided to go here. What a pleasant surprise we booked in on Valentin Day for dinner, the restaurant isn't normally open on Sundays during off season. The owners Helen and Grant were very friendly and accommodating explaining the menu to us. The Tapas and main meal were excellent finished off with a lovely sweet. Unfortunately we had to leave before they were open again we would have loved to have tried Helen's Asian cooking. But if we are up that way again we will certainly be going when they are open well worth the trip. Thank you again for a great meal and friendly service hope to see you...

Helen and Grant took care of every element of our ‘significant birthday’ celebration. Communication before the event was smooth and easy. It was a beautiful, homely setting with plenty of room for our 35 guests. The warm fire, quirky decor and timber finishes created a lovely atmosphere. The spacious room was easily accessible for Mum who needed a bit of space with her wheels. The platters of food were fresh and kept on coming. The house wine was great and the bar was well stocked.
