Hedland Harbour Cafe — Restaurant in Port Hedland

Popped into Harbour Café for a quick bite, I requested an item that wasn't ready made so I had to wait for it to be cooked, my experience was fine at this point. A few minutes later what appears to be the chef called out my item and as I stood up and lent in to collect it from her she slammed it on the counter with a sour look on her face and turned around in disgust and strolled back towards the kitchen. No, "thanks very much", "have a good day" or "see you next time". Never have I ever been subject to such rudeness and ignorance at any establishment. Don't get me wrong, the food and coffee are amazing. Recommend the Breakfast Burrito A +. What let us down today was some (not all) of the staff. I had to ask for my table to be cleaned after the previous customers.This was not noticed even though the server walked past several times after clearing plates off my table. Really good service from everyone I encountered. I had a long black coffee and calamari salad. Coffee was good, but initially served way too hot. Calamari salad had too much sauce for my personal preference, but the calamari was cooked really nicely and I was pleased (and surprised) to find that the salad wasn't just mesclun and/or lettuce, and included some more substantial salad items.
