Very popular cafe with some good breakfast options and vibrant atmosphere. Can be very noisy with customers, blenders and other noise that is almost deafening at times. Good views across the road and out to the marina Had the Benedict and was let down by a sauce almost the consistency of water otherwise would have given a higher score. Eggs were poached well but very basic bacon used. The rosti was a highlight but the baked beans lacked anything to make them special or even tasty. Coffee was mild rather than strong but that might suit some. Large mugs are huge round things. Overall didn’t live up to the standard that it needs to for the price being charged but limited other options are available.

Lovely breakfast spot in Port MacDonnell We had a substantial breakfast at Tide Espresso Bar—everyone ordered eggs on toast. The scrambled eggs were generous (felt like four eggs!), and the poached eggs were cooked perfectly soft, just the way I like them. The sides are a bit pricey at around $5 each, but the quality is there. The coffee beans were clearly high quality, though I probably should’ve ordered an extra shot for more of a kick. And the bread—wow. I love bread, but this bread was the bomb. Overall, a lovely breakfast experience and a great spot for visitors to Port MacDonnell.

Lovely view out to the harbour, prana chai was just the right temperature and flavour followed by Warm Rice Pudding, a new menu item. Make sure to bring your best appetite as it is a tasty filling delightful concoction, pleasing to the eye and the tastebuds.

Very disappointed ordered a white tea and ham cheese croissant. Easy order croissant was premade in cabinet. Tea was cold made milk first so no flavour. Croissant i had to had to ask twice for. It then came out burnt black on bottom hard dry and flatter than a slice of bread. Asked for a refund but excuses oh we are busy they are always flat we don't give refunds. We will make another with eye rolls from a young staff obviously not handling their jobs and really didnt care. Overall 4 extra approaches to get a very simple order and I had to keep a friend waiting after she had finished while my order took over half an hour longer and I ordered earlier before her. Definitely a miss if you want a pleasant...
