Dined at Vincent the Providore 3 times (2 breakfasts and 1 dinner) in the two days that we stayed in Port Vincent. The breakfast were yummy the portion generous and the scrambled eggs were amazing! And the coffee was good, owner Chris uses only fresh Colombian coffee beans that is never more than 7 days ‘old’ (not hard to do as many people come in for their cup of Joe either dine in or take away) it was obvious to us that owner Chris and cook Brontë take pride in their work and their passion shows in the food and drinks they served. They serve dinners on Thursdays to Sundays (if I’m remember correctly) and although it’s ‘only’ pizzas, these were the best pizzas we have had. Try the Dirty Chook if you like a bit of heat 🌶️ but it was delicious. Chris aims to balance the savoury (meat and olives) with some sweet (pear and balsamic glaze) and the base were handmade so the crust were yummy and they were generous in their ingredients too (see photos of our pizzas!) A shout out to Chris as he tried to accommodate our lactose intolerance by getting some lactose free cheese and although he wasn’t able to, we really did appreciated his effort. Chris is a proud supporter of South Australian products, he recommended the Spinifex 🍷 to go with our pizzas and it was spot on, we have even planned a visit to Spinifex winery in the near future! Chris and Brontë are friendly and although their brand of humour/ banter are not everyone’s cup of tea, they made us feel that we fitted right in and were even invited to stay back at the end of the evening to chit chat with other friendly guests communal style. It really was a great dining experience. We will definitely visit Vincent the Providore again and wish Chris and Brontë the best!

Went for coffee (excellent!) and stayed for the banter! Had great fun swapping friendly jibes with Chris and his off-sider and meeting a couple of locals. Great location on the foreshore and the menu looks good for a more substantial meal than we were ready for. Will definitely be back.

We had the most delicious pizza here with a red vino on Saturday night. It was such a great experience. Pizza included seasonal fresh ingredients including prosciutto, fig, balsamic glaze and rocket. Was the bomb. Thanks to Chris and the team. Coffees ☕️ are great too 👍.

The worker/owner/manager guy was extremely rude, had ants crawling out of the wooden pizza board ( extremely embarrassing ). He had a bad attitude towards anyone who didn’t agree with him, but he also started arguments for no reason. He was being kind of racist to my partner about him being Brazilian and questioning him about soccer ( just because he’s Brazilian, doesn’t mean soccer has to be every topic, but he also made my partner wrong ).

He charged us $200+ for the pizzas that had ants, yes he did replace, but should’ve been free for the inconvenience. I couldn’t eat after that.

Even after being embarrassed, he still had an attitude, which I think is ridiculous because how do you have the audacity? 😂

Will not come back,...

Coffee was quite tasty, Chai Latte's pretty bland and a lot of foam.

The owner was pretty rude and grumpy the entire time we dined in. The rest of the staff were pretty nice.

Takeaway wasn't an option (boxing up the pizza is too hard, tho they do have boxes if you want to take your remaining pizza away, go figure)

Pizza itself was pretty tasty, a bit undercooked in the middle, 7/10

Good place for takeaway small...
