3.45 pm Wednesday, i went to get a coffee and something to eat, the lady was almost friendly and close to closing time and not really interested, all foods were closed except for a pie in the warmer or a cake/slice so i ordered a large cappuccino, as the lady was making it very quickly i asked was that hot as i like it hot, her reply was to touch the cup with her hand and replied it is hot because her fingers and hand are used to the touch, so i got my coffee and took a sip, yep you guessed it was warm, i informed her of this fact and she did offer to make it again, I declined her offer and I will not go there again. If she is constantly washing her hands they become more sensitive as the day goes on, but some people do not understand simple physics . When it is closing time you are only interested...

What a strange man. He has no idea how to deal with the public. When he found out we were heading for Yeppoon, he proceeded to advise us which was the best way to go, even though my friend said they'd been there before and knew where to go. He stopped and stared at her, and asked where she was from. When she said Scotland, he said, ah well, as if 'that explains it'. He tutt tutted me because I asked the lady to put my burger patty back on the grille, as it was too pink for my liking. And I had to pay $3 extra for a bit of salad on my burger. I've certainly had much better burgers for the price of $12.99. When my other friend asked for a double scoop ice cream, he told her that was too much. She should only have one scoop. He was just...

We popped in to check out the menu for a future visit. There were no employees to be seen but we got the info we needed.

As we walked out we were practically chased away by a rude older male employee wearing chefs pants. He asked if we needed any help, to which we said no thank you. He then continued to yell and abuse us and said, what our foods not good enough for you?

With this kind of approach and service, no it’s not. After this interaction we will not dine here, regardless of the appealing menu we saw when we first walked in.

You’re driving people away with this attitude! If I could rate you less than 1...

Awesome food! Ordered a sausage roll and a milkshake. The sausage roll was homemade and the best sausage roll I've ever had! The milkshake was amazing! I am drinking the drink as of writing this! We are moving from South QLD to North QLD so the likeley hood of me eating there again is low but if we go past it sometime. I will definitely stop for food. 22/20! I forgot to mention the 5 star service!

This is the first and best spot to stop (heading north). Food is freshly made and tasty. You will get a good meal and not be disappointed. We had the BLT , salad sandwich, THE LOT burger (which really is a lot!) and the Corn fritter wrap. Keen to now head back in and get some homemade dessert. Eat well!!

Had a beautiful toasted ham, onion and cheese sanga, coffee was great. A lovely place to pull over and have a break. Loved the staff, ha e ow Ed the Cafe for a short time and people should visit instead of going to Mecca's etc. Price was very good. They have a lot of goods that you can buy.
