Looked good upon entry, friendly staff,beer was a good price and still smelt of fresh paint 😍 but that's where it ended Ordered dinner, bread and a side if chips, or should I say fingers of a extremely salty giant, were not cooked overly well, then my bread came out, very oily,I could handle that , but the cooked fly on top wasn't crunchy enough for my liking,or my partners.. Main started well, parmi was good but no jalapenos as advertised in the menu, garlic aioli was just that, a watery garlic paste, not very creamy, no one touched it at the table, I normally go to the piney but thought hell yeah I'll give it a shot, sailing club affiliate, gotta be good right? Excellent customer service from Sarah from our booking on the telephone to our experience in the restaurant. We have been in Australia 4 weeks, this was one of our best meals. I enjoyed the bangers (delicious butchers sausages), mash, tasty steamed fresh vegetables and gravy. My husband said his panko breadcrumbed fish of the day (red emperor) was really good. Unfortunately we didn't have any room for dessert 😅.

On Friday nights the food is great $10. For a steak and chips and salad bare foot bowls on Sunday's or any day there is a green spare. I have started volunteering for the club now trying to recruit some younger members and to promote the Friday night raffles and live band its a great way to unwind meet new people and listen to stories from some of the people who have lived in the area for a long time when dirt roads linked most places in the area.
