We have been here tonight, I wanted to go through a few points on my review for the growth of your business.
First of all, the man at the entrance was lovely and so was the 2 waitress who look after us. We have been warn that it will take a bit of time for our food which we understand sometimes under staffed and it is totaly fine. They all remain professional and friendly. Big up to the waiting staff.
Cocktail were great, just right keep doing it.
My wife and I took the meat platter for 2. $126 for 2. Price is ok as long as the quality follows...
The chicken Kebab was really nice, smoked flavor, perfect texture and taste was good !
The beef brisket was butter, very nice. A little more seasoning and you would nail it for sure !
The pork ribs was bad, very bad... piece of bones was in the meat and it was dry... no taste as the meat was overcooked. I mention to the waiter maybe if it was smoked it would have been juicer and defenetly tastier.
The porc belly to be honnest get rid of it. I don t think many people would want to it pure fat and it makes the entire plate full of greace...
And the sausage was well cook but when you see the inside it is some kind of process hotdog...
The mac and cheese was ok. I had better. Maybe a try it as a gratin would have been great.
Sweet potatoes chips is hard to nail I know I tried myself many many time... the good trick is mix sweet potatoes chips with normal chips and boom their you have it all.
I think in my opinion people prefer quality over quantity. Stick to the chicken kebab and the brisket work on it to perfect it. Better to have 2 chicken skewer and a good brisket than all that food.
But then again it is only my opinion.
We will go back at some point I will try the crab pasta.
I hope this review will help you to improve.
If you have any other questions happy to help.
Keep your waiting staff they are amazing !
We had a $179 bill and I left $21 tip. To show the staff not to worry just try to...
Read moreI holidayed at Clifton Beach 9th to 14th June and as there is only one restaurant I thought I would get takeaway and eat it on my balcony. I placed a phone order that would be ready in half-an-hour. I arrived on time. The restaurant is on the corner of Clifton Road and Yule Avenue. I parked on Clifton Road and entered the property and found I was in the restaurant outdoor dining area. As I was looking to see where the main entrance is (on Yule Ave), a waiter saw me standing there and barked words to the effect, “Go to the main entrance and wait for me there” which I did. He was obviously busy serving but when he came back into the restaurant he completely ignored me. Just as I was about to approach him he turned and glared at me so I told him my name and the order. He barked at me “Sit there” and pointed at a table. As I was the only one inside the restaurant I was not annoying anyone (except him!) by standing so I continued to stand. He returned with my order and plonked it on the table and then walked to the cash register while telling me how much it cost. I paid with my credit card and left. He did not say thank you or make eye contact. I was planning to have all of my dinners at Coco Mojo but his rudeness meant that I did not return – he is totally unsuited for the hospitality industry. As for the food, I had the Seafood Linguini ($45) which had a Moreton bay bug, prawns, scallops, mussels, clams, calamari, cherry tomatoes, chilli, herbs, white wine and garlic and was delicious. The interior of the restaurant has interesting art and the vibe is very cool. I really would have like to have dinner there more often but not with Mr...
Read moreI want to start with the positives, we called and made a reservation for 7:45, showed up at 5:45 and our table was already waiting on us. But on the other side of the coin, we could have had any table that we wanted. We were shown to our seats everyone ordered their drinks and they came out one by one, roughly 5-10 minutes apart. In between drinks we could clearly see the bartender walking around talking to the other servers that were working there, not sure why she chose to make them one at a time space out like she did. Next we order food and the server asks do we want the kids food to come out first so I said yes because hell hath no furry like an angry kid, well we didn't realize that they would only concentrate on making the kids food before starting on the adults food. So between 40-45 minutes after we order the kids at least get their food, but what we didn't realize was the adults still had an additional 40-45 minute wait. At this point even though the restaurant is empty except for us and maybe two other sets of customers our server is actively avoiding our table to the point if we want something one of us has to go on a search of the restaurant to find him to ask for what we need. The food was decent, the chef herself brought it to the table and seemed to take pride in her work, so I am going to chalk this up to the staff that works the tables and bar as the reason that we had such a poor experience. I believe that if they fire everyone except the chef and start over they may have a chance to be a good place, but with so few people in the restaurant there really is no excuse for us to have had such a...
