Commercial Hotel — Restaurant in Queensland

We've recently moved to Nanango and decided to try all the pubs. We have a bit of a routine where we go to the pub every Thursday for a good feed and wanted to find the one. So we tried all the pubs in Nanango, visiting each one a couple of times. MAN, the Commercial is just in a league of its own. The smoked waguy beef is unbelievably good. The steak are cooked to perfection. And let me not start with the cheesecakes. Even their burgers goes unmatched. And the best part, the also stock my favourite ale - Coopers pale ale. Guys keep it up. We'll see you every week and NEVER get rid of the chef. Thank you for feeding us and making this experience better than what we could ever find in Brisbane....

Popped into the Commercial Hotel Nanango for dinner. What a gem of a country pub! Their smoked meats are the real deal - absolutely fantastic. Tried the combo with brisket and BBQ pork ribs. Mind-blowing! Couldn't stop eating, it was that good. Steak's excellent too, if you're more of a traditionalist. Prices are fair for the quality you're getting. Staff and owners are super friendly and welcoming. They're great with special requests, like gluten-free options. Atmosphere's exactly what you want from a country pub. Female bartender was so rude. Asked if the bistro was closed and she replied with attitude stating it was after closing time, which it wasn't as late as she made out to be, and made a big drama out of saying that they can't make anymore food. Then I asked if we can get some drinks then, and she replies with more attitude saying that there's heaps of people infront of us so will get to us later. So we walked out.

I've been to many country pubs and have never been so rudely served. Thank goodness there's other pubs in this small town because I won't be going back there.
