Good selection of sandwiches and pastries, however the pies and sausages rolls were mostly sold out when we arrived (just after lunch on a Monday). Chicken schnitzel burger was great; would've been 6 stars with a slice of bacon. Coffee was really nice. Staff were very friendly. Choice of seating inside, outside, or in repurposed arcade / breezeway next door (which is where we choose).

I have been to the twisted whisk many times since my family’s relocation to Nanango, and I have yet to have a disappointing experience! The staff here handle a line wrapped around the store with ease, and they are so friendly. Amazing coffee every time. AND THE CRUFFINS - amazing as is, but trust me, if you microwave em for 30s when you get home, your life will be changed.

We decided to call in for breakfast last Saturday, 4th Feb, after visiting the Nanango markets. I ordered the pancakes, and a cappuccino hubby ordered the big breakfast with poached eggs. I got my coffee but had well and truly finished it by the time we got our order. Top pancake was cold the other two just warm. They were a bit like glue very doughy. Only ate 2 hoping the second one was better but wasn't. Hubby was missing the chorizo and the poached eggs were cold and rock hard not sure they were eggs when first looked at. We had been here before and had their pies, which were not bad, and if we decide to go back certainly won't be having pancakes or big breakfast. They appeared to have enough staff on but tables were left with dirty dishes and some not wiped down. It wasn't too busy when we ordered, but they did get more customers while we were...

Although this bakery looked inviting the atmosphere while having a coffee and pastry was not . The girl at the counter was accomodating with our order. When our coffees arrived they were Luke warm as was our pastry.I asked the lady(owner)? If she could clean our table as it hadn't been cleaned from the previous customers there was no response she came back and my husband tried to make conversation with her but again there was no response. I noticed other tables with dishes still on them and her daughter filing up fridges at 11am something that gets done in quieter times. She wasn't guided to clean and clear tables first as I noticed customers sitting in tables that weren't cleaned. We are travellers passing through but if you want customers to come back it would be of benefit to get friendly with your locals as they are your...

Stopped in with a few mates for brekky Sunday morning, longest wait for brekky I've ever had, then only 3 brekkies came out separately with the staff having completely forgotten 1 of our meals. I got the bakehouse brekky with poached eggs, they must have had it cooked 5 mins after I ordered at left it sit for 20 minutes before bringing it out. The eggs had gone cold the fried tomato was so under fried that most of the 8 quarters of tomato had no grill marks on them at all and felt like they had just left the fridge, the bacon was also under cooked and the sour dough was black. The chorizo was simply DON chorizo slices from the supermarket, but the mushrooms where edible. If you want to pay nearly $20 for 2 tomatoes 1 rasher of cold bacon and a few other scattered brekky items then this is the...
