I am a regular here and normally don't have a bad word to say about the coffee or their food. Sadly today was not a good experience at all. The 2 coffees I ordered were done to perfection but the chips were so salty. You couldn't taste the chips or the gravy. Every bite of chip crunched from the salt that was smothered over them. I am not sure why the staff would send something out that was so high on salt. I ate it because I didn't want to make a scene. I hope from now on that the chef or cook will check to make sure the salt isn't the main star of the dish.

Very nice šŸ• Haven't eaten yet but it is nice so far. The staff at the counter seemed a little inexperienced but he tried his best! šŸ˜Ž They didn't have sausages which was sad but I expect the food will still be good. This was what I drank while waiting (with $1 sausage refund in background) 🌭. LasagnašŸ”„

Stopped here for a mid week lunch on our way back to Brisbane. Corner store style cafe, good service and reasonable prices. Seating inside, out on the back verandah or further out back under the trees. Good burgers freshly made. Plenty of on street parking available out front.

Joined the lunchtime queue for a medium sized box of chips. We had been directed to the sizes and cost by an assistant. We paid for the box of chips ($6), waited about 35 minutes while fellow purchasers and even later arrivals were served before us. Had to go the counter and offer a reminder that we were still waiting (everyone else had been served} and at that point we heard our order being processed. When we took the box of chips to our motorhome we noted that it was only half filled. This was the first time we had patronised your establishment. The chips were OK, but it was the overall experience which left a bitter taste to remember your cafe by. ...

Great tasting chips, well worth pulling off the main highway to get them The burgers looked good as well. Did not try the burgers at the time, but I will be back to do this. Tables are on an outdoor covered deck overlooking the rail trail. There were also a couple of tables under some shady trees. Lovely spot. Friendly staff are also worthy of a mention as well. They treated us like regular locals they have known for some time, even though we were from out of town. Very welcoming. P.s. while not part of this business, public toilets next door were of a very clean and tidy standard....
